Eating with stripes between your legs - Very friendly staff. The guide who led the snorkel very didactic and with good humor. We have done 3 dives in different places to see a small coral reef with many fish, rays, barracudas, starfish. You provided us with a meal (ceviche) on a beach, on a floating table (it covered us at the waist). The best thing was that as we ate, streaks passed between our legs to become the remains of the ceviche that fell into the water.

May be for you, may not. - We came on a cruise and chose to book separate from the cruiseline because we wanted to go to El Cielo. We were very stressed initially because we made the mistake of not considering that Cozumel was an hour ahead of our ship time. We rushed off the ship as the first people off and booked it to the taxi area where we were also first in line, so that we could make it to the 930 am call time for a 10am excursion. We got to money bar around 915am. Here where my first point of frustration comes to play. The boat did not show up until 1045!!! Then when we got on the boat they made another stop at a different dock further south which took even more time. So the excursion didn't even start until closer to 1130am, an hour and a half later than it was supposed to. There was a small family that was now rushing the crew because their ship left at 330pm and they didnt want to miss it. There was another couple on the boat that said their excursion was for turtle sanctuary and now the same tour we booked and when they asked Leo, the tour guide, he told them they just say that so people book it. Wow, that's so wrong! Also, after we did the deeper reef, Leo says we're going to a different next reef instead of Palancar, so we can try to see turtles (hindsight after the couple talked to us. That was the reason he changed it). Also, didn't see any turtles. It was like the tried to mesh both tours into one which is false advertising to everyone who has paid. Now as far as the experience itself it was really cool snorkeling and we had a great time doing that part. The boat was a little old and the wood floor planks would fly up over certain waves. The toilet is a claustrophobic nightmare. Overall we had a good time but maybe that's the beer speaking.
