Pick this excursion! - OMG!!!!! Amazing! It was literally the most perfect day. Alvin was great. Great tour guide and great conversation, super informative! The tour felt authentic and not touristy at all. I really wanted Mexican Doritos and Coca Cola and he helped me find it! The ruins were gorgeous and we got some great shots. Lunch was included and delicious plus had a 10/10 view.
Initially I was skeptical because there weren’t so many reviews. I promise you, if you book with this excursion you will have a day well spent.
Totally recommending to all my friends and family!

Tour with Smiggie’s! - Smiggies has excellent communication using WhatsApp. Due to windy /chilly weather we booked last minute, but that was not a problem. We were picked up by Miguel at our hotel. He asked about our preferred stops on our tour. He also asked about our past visits so we were getting new adventures. The tequila distillery was our 1st stop. It was very interesting & the samples were delicious. We then headed to the East side of the island & got some beautiful beach pictures at Chen Rio. Then we visited the Buena Vista property to see caves and cenotes. Miguel was a wealth of knowledge on the Island of Cozumel & Mayan culture. He knew plants, water sources, artifacts, animals, rituals, and so much more. Our last stop was on the beach at El Mirador. We loved every minute of this excursion & highly recommend Smiggies Concierge!

Wonderful exploring - Alvin was a great guide! Lots of information, and he knew where to get the BEST mojitos and for the best price. Very accommodating. We had to leave early so we could not enjoy a meal at Casa Misione - instead had great tacos at the beach

Alvin and the Chipmunks! - We spent a great day with Alvin. He taught us all about the Mayan culture and showed us the Mayan ruins in the private setting. Alvin molded the visit to our interests. We highly recommend Smiggie’s!!

Alvin the Great - Alvin, our tour guide was wonderful. He was friendly, professional, down to earth and knowledgeable. We loved every place that he took us. We stopped at a beachfront place and had the freshest squeezed margaritas. He took us to the Mayan ruins, which was very interesting. We stopped at a local tequila farm and everybody there was very chill and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. It was so nice NOT being surrounded by a bunch of tourists. We love the open air Barbie car. Highly recommend this service. Alvin, we miss you already. You are the best thing we experienced during our cruise. Love ya and take care.

Ramses was born to do this. Insist on him. - Ramses, our tour guide was born to do this. He loves the land and culture and loves to share it. Heartfelt. Not trying to impress you with his knowledge but share his passion for the island and the culture. He knows all the best places and the caves were fascinating with him to paint the picture of how they were used. He opened our minds about different takes on the history and meanings behind the Mayan people. If you don’t ask for him your loss. He picked up trash while we played at the beaches. He cares that much. Tried very hard to compliment him but he kept echoing his enjoyment of spending time with us. Cool contemplative soul who’s found his calling and enjoying life. He’s a chill soul who’s found his calling and living his best life. we could spend more time with talking about life it’s mysteries then admired watching the sun set on the island.

Pawsitively The Best - Smiggie' got your back and gets four paws up from me. From the start our guide was barking up the right tree, we saw amazing views and ate delicious food. This is the only guide you'll ever need in Mexico, fur real.

Made a new friend! - Arturo gave us a personal tour of the Mayan ruin that he has been visiting and clearing for the last decade. He shared many facts about both the ancient and contemporary Mayan culture, and even a bit of his personal history. We left feeling that we made a new friend.

Five Stars All Around - I love seeking authentic experiences when I travel, but planning everything myself led to some classic tourist mistakes. Luckily, my mother-in-law had Smiggie up her sleeve to save the trip.
Arturo was absolutely fantastic. He guided us to amazing food, the best prices, and unforgettable experiences. His deep knowledge of history and ability to connect ancient civilizations to modern concepts made the tour so much richer. He explained the social structures of ancient cultures in a way that was both insightful and relatable.
This tour was hands-down my favorite part of the trip, and it was surprisingly affordable. Compared to the cookie-cutter companies I had considered, Arturo’s service felt personalized and worth every penny—and then some!
Unlike other excursions, Arturo and his team made sure we never felt rushed. I felt completely carefree, whether we were jumping into cenotes or taking breaks during transport. He adjusted the itinerary on a whim when requested and always made us feel welcome.
If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable guide who truly customizes the experience to your needs, look no further. I’ll be planning my next trip to Mexico around Arturo’s availability!

Toured the best points of the island! - We had an amazing time! We felt very safe the entire time. He was very friendly and engaged well with our kids and us. I would definitely recommend using him to anyone!❤️
