Paradise on and under the water - This was an amazing trip. We started out from the hotel at 5.40am and came back at around 5pm and in between, we had a truly magical trip.
The bus took us to Playa Del Carmen where we took the ferry across to Cozumel, a trip of around 40 minutes. Hopping on to the catamaran, it was then around two hous to the first stop where we swam on the reef. To be honest, if we had gone swimming in the hotel pool the water quality would not have been as good. We could literally see for about 100 meters underwater and the fish were beautiful. Moving on, we next anchored over a sandy bay and the water quality was even better. Paddle boards and snorkelling gear were provided for all who didn't have their own. The ride back to Cozumel was a joy. Perhaps it wasn't the party-boat atmosphere we have exerienced elsewhere but the lunch provided and the amble supply of free drinks, along with the excellent company, made it a trip we will remember for a long time. Watching the flying fish was a joy too. Big up to Carlos, our guide and the boat crew who were extremely friendly and informative. A 'must-do' trip for anyone who enjoys snorkelling.
A couple of points of note. Firstly, our TUI Rep had told us it was a 4-5 hour trip; it wasn't, it was over 11. Secondly, once you reach teh dock in Cozumel, you are allowed to use suncream. But from there on, you aren't. This is for understandable environmental reasons but advanced warning may have allowed us to wear more protective clothing - the old bonce got a bit of a burn. Also, our meeting point in Playa Del Carmen, where we got the ferry tickets, has an excellent shop where, if you need to, you can buy a huge range of souvenirs and snorkelling gear at a price a fraction of that being charged in our resort - worth to note. Neither of the issues raised above spoiled the trip at all, but they would have been nice to know in advance.
Overall, magical. The profile photo for this trip truly doesn't do it justice; the water, if anything, is even better than the photo shows.

Refundable - Although the tour was cancelled and we didn’t know about it, after contacting them we got a full refund. We’re from Australia and we went on a different snorkelling tour instead. Their reefs don’t compare to the Great Barrier Reef but the water was absolutely lovely and SO clear. Still worth it in the end.

10 out of 10! - Best luxury sail experience ever, with expert and kindest crew and very nice catamaran! A must! Food was served onboard and was good and fresh. Drinks and cocktails also very nice. No compromise on safety at any time, which showed seriousness of the crew.

Great Experience!!! - Cancun Adventures was great! Marisa picked us up and always made sure the group was together and safe. Hugo made sure we were safe and had fun in the water. Martin and Magarito kept the ship clean, answered all our questions, made jokes, and kept the drinks coming! We had thr best captain in Cozumel, Captain Reyes, who kept the boat smooth even in rough waters. Highly recommend. Worth the money just in drinks. Great experience and we plan on coming back!

Highly recommend for various reasons - The crew took really good care of us. They made safety a priority and were very accommodating to everyone’s specific needs. I recommend bringing a rash guard, as no sunscreen is allowed while snorkeling (not even the reef safe kind), as they not only care about their passengers, but the reef itself. After the reef snorkeling portion of the trip, you can put on sunscreen, because the rest of the fun takes place away from the reefs. They also provided all drinks in cups instead of individual plastic bottles, which I appreciated (less waste). Honestly, this tour was worth the cost. I went on another reef snorkeling excursion which was less expensive and there was a marked difference. The less expensive excursion was fun, and they followed all the standard rules, but it was way more crowded, and there wasn’t the attention to the environment. I highly recommend this excursion.

Consider avoiding Cancun Travel Experience Excursions - Unfortunately, the excursion did not go as planned, resulting in the loss of money and an entire day of our vacation.
Based on Cancun’s Travel Experience’s Cozumel Sailing & Snorkeling Cruise’s recommendation, upon reaching the meeting point at 8:45 am, we found that the shuttle to the boat had already departed. We promptly contacted the provided number to inquire about the boat's location and expressed our willingness to take a taxi to join the excursion.
Regrettably, we were informed that the boat had already accommodated additional passengers from a waitlist, therefore, they had no intention of accommodating any travelers that chose to meet at the designated meeting place in Cozumel rather than opt-in to their additional transfer fees departing from Playa del Carmen.
We are requesting a refund from Viator.

Do not use them - Waited till 10:15. No show. Call them their response was they not operating today and refund our money. By then too late to find a different excursion. They wasted our whole day.

They no showed us - Booked the 10:00 AM start time but the day before they changed it due to maintenance needed on the boat. They said they would pick us up at 1:45 instead. It was going to be a nice afternoon so we were okay with that. We show up to the pickup spot at 1:30 and wait 30 minutes and no one showed up. I then called the travel agency and they claimed the pickup time was 12:45 and the boat had already left. I called the gentleman that let us know the day before the pickup time was at 1:45 and he confirmed that still should’ve been the pickup time, but there apparently was a miscommunication, and we wouldn’t be able to do the trip that day anymore. He said we could reschedule to a different day or get a refund, we elected to get a refund because it was our last day on the island. Also, nobody ever called us saying they were at the pickup spot waiting for us, which was frustrating because we were around that area all day anyway so could’ve quickly gotten over there at any time. If you want to do this, I would book it through the travel agency, because we booked it through here and I think that’s what might’ve caused the confusion. Regardless, I would be cautious booking this trip. Only positive is that we got a full refund.
