Great guide. Ok tour. - Mario was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and an overall great guide. No chocolate was left for us to try at the coca station. Mayan experience was weak. Tequila tasking ok but too expensive to purchase for our tastes.

It was a good experience but not what I expected. - I guess I read the website wrong. I thought it was a hop on and hop off bus. I was a bit disappointed to know and experience that it was a scheduled guided tour.

Cozumel Day - Freddie was a great driver and Enrico was very informative. The tequila chocolate and honey tastings were great. Even with a little rain it was a good time.

Unique Hop On, Hop Off Bus - This was not your run of the mill hop on hop off bus tour!! Our Tour Guide, Raul Mendez Ake made sure this was a VERY memorable experience!! It was not a typical hop on, hop off bus, he gave us a very informative tour of local interest sites and history behind them. Our first stop was a village with Mayan dancers, local Tequila, chocolate, honey. And of course we had samples of all of them, especially several varieties of Tequila(my FAVORITE!! LOL!!). Then it was off again with more interesting sites and the history behind them. Then we stopped in old town and the shops. He made sure we knew all the best places to shop, and the ones to avoid. He made sure to point out the merchants that had his phone number if we had any questions. Then we were given the option to go to two different beaches, or return to the ship; we were on a cruise on Wonder of the Seas. Like I said at the beginning, this was NOT your normal hop on, hop off bus. I would HIGHLY recommend this company, and ask for Raul Mendez Ake!!

Not impressed - Long bus ride to tequila tasting, long bus ride to luncheon place, lunch place ws full, had to wait. Seemed most of trip was bus ride.

Tour not as expected.First of all, very confusing to get on tour , no signage available at port, no pink shorted guides. - This tour was not as expected. Hard to find guides at port. Went to shopping district and passed by church then went to see Mayan dancers in square. Beach experience was awful, horrible Coco Beach, dirty water full of seaweed. Had to go to the resort next to swim in beautiful water. Many delays to return back to ship

Meh! - This tour is not it at all! I booked through Royal caribbean. We only went to one historical site! And then to a Tequila tasting which from what I'm reading is a scam! Too late for me because I too was scammed 😪. The beach was mediocre and the water was very rough. I would not book again.

Not what we expected - If you want to shop in the markets, drink and purchase tequila, and spend some time on a remote beach, this tour would be good for you. To me it felt like a money grab. A way to get tourists to specific shops and restaurants to spend money. The private beach club is a beautiful beach with some two by four loungers (very uncomfortable) and a restaurant. Food and drink are not included. Nothing is included. Not even a place to put your things while off the bus because they use it for other tours while you are at the various locations. Not what we expected, but if all you are looking for is shopping, tequila, and a beach then this will do it.

Local contact # was never answered when we were lost and looking for meeting point. - Currently fighting with Viator who is refusing to refund this tour. So disappointing… We were really looking forward to this experience but after arriving at port, we couldn’t find the guide or meeting point. I tried calling the direct local contact several times and the phone went unanswered with a “this line is not taking messages at this time” message. After exhausting all options, we ended up shelling out an additional $150 USD for another tour that was starting an hour later. I had a 2 yr old and 75 yr old with me. We were tired and frustrated. I thought it would be no issue to get the original booking refunded, as Viator claims to stand behind their offerings and local guides - but I got a brief message saying “no refund will be offered”, with no explanation. I have written back to appeal, but I’m devastated to be out all this money. I will not book with Viator again after this experience.
