Fabulous Family Snorkeling - We recently completed our second snorkeling adventure with MayBe Tours, and it was a tremendous success. This family vacation included 10 of us, and we had such a wonderful experience on our first snorkeling tour that we chose to use their services again this year. Our guides took us to some of the most beautiful areas for snorkeling and wading. We encountered starfish, numerous tropical fish, and even swam with over a dozen friendly stingrays. Our tour guides provided us with delicious snacks and a variety of beverages. They were as committed to ensuring we had a great time as they were to prioritizing our safety and the well-being of the reefs and wildlife. We were all equipped with life jackets and snorkels. The guides kept a watchful eye on each of us and made sure we were educated on the harmful effects of certain sunscreens on fish and reefs. We will definitely use MayBe Tours again and highly recommend them.

Cozumel Snorkeling - Excellent snorkeling trip! The premium location was not accessible because of high winds, however we went with plan b and it was amazing! I highly recommend MaybeTours.

Great in and on the ocean! - Excellent day with a fun and experienced snorkeling crew! Water was a bit choppy but the crew worked to make sure everyone was safe and having fun.

Living it up in Paradise! - We had a great private boat tour today with kenlly and Wilbert. The private tour allowed us to go at our own pace and not be fighting giant groups on and off the water. We saw turtles, nurse shark, eel, sea stars and many fish.

Great views - Excellent tour. We stopped at four sites with differing depths and different types of sea life. Got to see turtles and rays up close. We’ll do this one again.

Great Introduction to Snorkeling in Cozumel - This is an excellent introduction to Palancar Reef, Columbia Reef, and El Cielo. Our tour guides, Miguel (our guide) and "El Capitan" (the boat captain), were exceptional! I'd recommend this tour for couples and families to see beautiful fish, starfish, and sting rays. You'll want to bring your own mask and fins; the boat has older masks and fins but they are used often and not the best quality. I didn't give five stars because we took a morning tour, and one family was late, so we were delayed about 30 minutes, so the tour only lasted 3.5 hours instead of the full four hours. The afternoon trip won't feel as "rushed" because the boat has more time without returning to the dock after the morning tour. Overall, a great trip!

An excellent tour, only......... - The magnificent tour and the very considerate and helpful staff... The only thing I didn't think was correct was an extra charge from the lady who greeted us at the ferry terminal in Cozumel where she told us that we had to pay the "entrance fee to the park" and after charging she didn't give us any receipt....

Below par in Cozumel - Boat was in poor condition. The snack was miniscule. The captain and snorkel guide tried to make it a nice experience, but the boat was in bad shape and the snorkel guide said his boss wanted him to find a conch to add to the small guacamole snack. He could not find one. We were surrounded by nicer boats, newer and faster boats with considerably better snacking options. THe employees tried, but their leaders let them and the paying customers down.

Garbage Quality Tourist Trap Run by Scammers - AVOID this place like the plauge! Things started off badly when the organizer left without my father who was in the bathroom for maybe a minute long, and he would've been left behind entirely if we didn't stop the organizer. Upon arriving at the secondary location, we were informed for the very first time that the boat did not have bathrooms, and if we had to use the restroom during the four hour trip, we would have to do it immediately. I would've taken them up on this offer, however the men's toilets had no toilet paper, except for a roll locked up OUTSIDE the bathroom. After seeing the boat itself, the quality of the company became clear, as this was a shoddy tiny boat which was not designed to fit nearly as many people as the crammed on the overcrowded vessel. This overcrowding also later became an issue when the instructor was not able to keep track of the large group (especially in popular areas with multiple tour groups), and he would often just take off with no regard or cognizance for the group, splitting the group in half multiple times. We were also led to believe that flippers, snorkels, and googles would be provided. We saw no flippers and asked if they would be provided, and were nonchalantly told yeah, which turned out to be a lie. While the goggles and snorkels were provided, they were terrible bare minimum quality, with frequent leaks and snorkels with nothing to stop you from getting a mouthfull of seawater, which is what happened to my father, to the point that he had taken in so much seawater he vomited. If you're wondering how the duration of the four hour tour is divided, you are rushed through the first three actually interesting/beautiful locations, and then spend way too much time in the final sand bar location with nothing to see or do but see an occasional sting ray and eat snacks. The food by the way was also seriously lacking, as we were expecting it to be enough to replace lunch, but it was just some mediocre chips and guac, which were rendered soggy and salty due to the fact they were served in the water. Lastly and most infuriatingly, the "Dry Bag" which we were offered at the beginning to protect our valuables from water damage, was itself FULL OF WATER! I ended up getting a $300 pair of headphones ruined due to this! Overall our experience was still enjoyable, but this was in spite of the company, not because. There are lots of alternatives, try any of them instead.

Maybe not... - Maybe. The name says it all. Maybe you'll get 15 minutes at each "reef," or maybe not. Maybe the guide will keep track of everyone in the water, or maybe not. Maybe your guide will be professional, or maybe not. Maybe they'll be sure to have enough fuel on board to get back to the marina, or maybe not. I've done a fair amount of snorkeling and diving around the world and this is the worst company I've ever seen. Their gear is junk, the captain and guide were unprofessional and seemed disinterested in safety and service. When it came time to eat, they took us to a sand bar, made us get of the boat in chest deep water, put a bowl of chips and some ceviche on a life preserver and floated it out in our general direction. Our girls got cold after a while and wanted to get back on the boat, but they wouldn't let them. The whole day felt like a grift. I think we're very lucky no one had any problems because they were not equipped or qualified to handle anything. And yes, we nearly ran out of gas on the way back to the marina. 1 star is generous
