Punta Sur features a small but significant marine museum filled with historical artifacts used by our ancestors or brought to the island by pirates. Another quick stop within Punta Sur is the small ruin called “el Caracol,” which was once used as a marine marker for boats. Punta Sur also boasts the most beautiful reefs in Cozumel and the island’s most gorgeous, sandy beaches, perfect for relaxation.
• Hotel Hacienda Ixtlan - At our Ixtlán hacienda, you can participate in an amazing artisanal tequila tasting. You’ll learn a bit about Mexican history and tradition. Our tequila expert will share the secrets of crafting a good tequila, and you’ll get to sample various types, including coffee, coconut, mango tequila, and the traditional white, reposado, and añejo tequilas.
