Neat experience - We had a great experience. This was a stop on our tour that I booked with Panda Tours. Ritual dancing, honey, chocolate and tequila tasting. We didn't buy any of these items to bring home, and I am not sure if it's because we booked with a local guide but they didn't push us for sales. The lady tour guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our time onsite.

So worth it!! Our favorite day of the cruise was with this excursion - We loved this excursion! We were in a vehicle with 2 other couples Started with the tequila tasting which was so much fun. So many delicious flavors. Then on to the Mayan cultural exhibit. It’s not Disney World…a tittle old and run down but the staff had their hearts in it and were very eager to provide a great demo. Once and done but so glad we did…we really loved the dancers and the presenters. Our favorite stop was at the Palm Beach club for 1.5 hours. The excursion includes lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. It was a gorgeous day and we ordered guacamole and Mexican beer (extra $ of course) and soaked up the sun right there on the beach. I swam, the water was beautiful. We couldn’t have been happier with this excursion and with our driver, Carlos.

The Mayan Cultural Tour Is a Must! - This was the best part of our trip to Cozumel. It was fascinating and we had the best food of our entire trip. Our tour guide was superb. This is something you do not want to miss out on if you travel to Cozumel.

A Fun Stop on Cozumel - To begin with, we paid at the gate. Our driver told us that we got a low price than usual. After looking at the price on Trip Advisor, we got a significantly lower price. We started with the Maya ritual. It was very interesting, especially the fire dance. Next we had great pork tacos, then two of our group made tortillas. Next was a honey tasting followed by a tequila tasting. There were two stores you could buy souvenirs at on the way out of the park. If you know anything about the Maya it was an interesting experience. Per the other review we were asked to tip for several things inside the park. If we had paid the Trip Advisor price I could see where that would be irritating but we paid $17 per person, so we happily tipped. Also, our tour guide was informative and helpful.
