More than perfection!!! - Mourizio, Clara (wife) and Lorenzo (Son, who later joined us) were amongst the most amazing people on the Italian lands. Their hospitality was beyond gracious! The food was amazing! They had me hands on to making of: pork crostini with some Italian cheese (baked/served hot), and the traditional tomato/basil/ garlic crostini. Olive oil ravioli (rolled the dough, stuffed with fillings and cut). Of course, drinking Prosecco while I was working 😜. Then Mourizio grilled a big thick cut of Tbone steak grilled/roasted in an outdoor brick pizza oven and cooked to perfection (Mid rare/rare). It was paired with beautifully roasted potatoes collected from their own garden. By the way, every single ingredient was raised/grown by Mourizio on his yard/surrounds his house (olive trees, oranges, herbs…etc!). The family lives on a hill top overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan view! It was paradise!!! Tiramisu and homemade Italian concoctions culminated the most amazing experience at their home. Perfecto!!! grazie mille Mourizio, Clara and Lorenzo e ci rivedremo presto! Ps. I highly recommend to have this family host you. You will, perhaps, fall in love with them like I did! If you also need transportation from your hotel to theirs, Mourizio will be happy to come get you. My hotel is about 15-20 mins away from his house and came to pick me up with a smile! ❤️
