Known as the largest indigenous fair in South America, it features over three thousand artisans showcasing their products. Visitors will have ample time to explore and purchase items of interest. Before heading back to Quito, a typical local lunch will be enjoyed. The service is private, and all tours are conducted by a professional, certified guide.
From Quito to Mindo
Mariposas de Mindo - Departing Quito early, within two hours, visitors can immerse themselves in Mindo’s biodiversity, enjoy a traditional breakfast, and then visit the Mindo butterfly sanctuary to learn about these insects and their environmental significance.
Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve - The second stop is the waterfall sanctuary, where a trek of just over two hours through Mindo’s cloud forest allows for the enjoyment of nature and the beauty of its crystal-clear waterfalls, perfect for a refreshing swim.

Quito to Quilotoa
Laguna Quilotoa - This stunning lagoon is nestled in the crater of the Quilotoa volcano, part of the Chugchilan mountain range. Its waters are highly mineralized, preventing fish and bird life. The adventure begins early, as the destination is nearly three hours from the capital. The trip offers beautiful landscapes, leading to the viewpoint of the lagoon, where a 45-minute descent to the shore begins. The journey showcases the magnificent Andean scenery surrounding the lagoon. Once at the shore, kayaking is an optional activity. After ample time, the return ascent takes about two hours, with necessary precautions. The tour continues to Baños.

CASCADA EL PAILON - The next destination is the renowned Devil’s Pailon waterfall, where a two-hour round-trip hike leads to its majestic cascade. After the activity, lunch is enjoyed in Baños before returning to Quito.

Termas de Papallacta - Located 65km from Quito, the Papallacta resort offers stops along the way to admire the Andean landscape and capture photographs. The route traverses a vast plain surrounded by Polylepis mountain ranges and forests. Upon arrival, visitors can relax in the Spa, enjoying the therapeutic waters amidst the mountains and nature for several hours. Before returning to Quito, a stop is made to savor the local cuisine, with options like chicken or trout broth prepared in various ways. Visitors can also fish for their own trout, providing a unique experience. The day concludes with a return to Quito after an incredible experience.
