Would absolutely recommend this tour - The guides were focused on safety and maximum experience for our group. The ratio was about 5-6 people per guide, plus one that stayed on the boat. Our guide Danny was very knowledgeable about the fish we saw and was sure to point out anything special. We saw giant stingrays, barracudas, and a sea turtle, along with dozens of other varieties. Kayson was our main guide, and he also did a fantastic job ensuring everyone had a great time. The shark experience was really fun, we had so many sharks swimming around us. It felt really magical.

Do it! - What a great experience! Tour guides were extremely friendly, professional and fun. It was my first time snorkeling and they were very helpful and supportive. We swam with sharks, fish and saw 1 sea turtle! We were also able to rent a go pro. Trip of a lifetime for sure, highly recommend!

This was an excellent... - This was an excellent tour! The tour guide always made sure we stayed as a group in the water and made sure we were OK! I certainly would book this excursion again! It was well worth it.

Must do at least once in your lifetime. - Awesome experience and great guides made this trip once in a lifetime adventure. Will definitely do it again. Saw a lot of different fish species, 3 different types of sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and coral formations.

Get Raul as your guide - Fantastic snorkeling with Raul. Visited with our 19yo son. Raul was a great guide, explained the history of the reserve, then guided us through the reef, finding and naming the sea creatures. We swam near nursery sharks, stingrays, barracudas. Also a sea cucumber, various others, more than I can remember. Gave us fruit and drinks to recharge. Will return!

NO LIES TOLD - Jonah, Candyman and Ryan were fantastic and friendly guides and knowledgeable about the reefs and giving a full educational back ground. You are in the water on a guided tour of the reef for a little over an hour in a small group of around 6. The second half of the trip to shark alley is a lot quicker but more time than you need for the full experience of having sand sharks swimming around you. I highly recommend and thank you to the staff.

Celebrated last day of 2024 with 2 snorkel trips! - We booked two same day trips with Ambergris ivers, to go to Hol Chan, Mexico Rocks, swim with nurse sharks and rays. It was the perfect way to end 2024. Boat crew were friendly and knowledgeable and everyone we spoke with in the shop was informative. Saw a lot, enjoyed the time. One suggestion for anyone doing several excursions- b ring added layers as you'll likely feel colder later after being in the watet so much. We wore quick dry tops in the water to avoid having too much sun exposure and to stay warmer.

Great Snorkeling adventure - Today we did the Snorkeling tour with Ambergris Divers and loved it! The staff was super nice and helpful and got to see alot of sharks and other marine wildlife! 10/10 recommend!

Had Great time but with WRONG tour operator - So this became VERY PROBLEMATIC- the map on the VIATOR app showed us where to go-We even scouted it the night before. It took us directly to two side by side Diving/Snorkeling Tour businesses. 30 minutes before our tour was to start we walked there - the vendor said we didn’t have resv. and told us to go next door to other vendor. They too said they didn’t do tours with VIATOR. They said try a third vendor- (every time I called the VIATOR linked tour operator phone number I got no answer and no reply on the chats I sent that VIATOR App had- I even sent chat the day before to make sure the google map location on VIATOR was correct. The 3rd vendor was Amigos Del Mar. They were so helpful- they called the snorkeling tour operator we were booked with- long story short Amigos Del Mar read our booking number to him over the phone and obviously some conversation resulted in the gal assisting us at Amigos Del Mar said they would take our group of 6. So they took us out and it was INCREDIBLE. I CAN NOT SAY enough about the business Amigos Del Mar on Ambergris Caye. I’m not impressed though with VIATOR contact tour operator infor and incorrect MEET location- the booking was with Muy Ono Adventures and app showed Ambergris Divers Belize as the location- however that was the first location we arrived at and they said we had no reservations and that started the misdirected wandering of our group to finally arrive at Amigos Del Mar- so BAD REVIEW for VIATOR and Muy Ono Adventures and Ambergris Divers Belize but 10 STARS for Amigo Del Mar for getting us a tour.
