Within the bounds of Flamencos National Reserve, you’ll reach the globally recognized Moon Valley. Be prepared to be awestruck by the sight of the Salt Mountain Range, a breathtaking geological feature. Come to appreciate the fragility of the clay formations when you visit ‘Las Tres Marias’, naturally sculpted artworks. As a grand finale, soak in the panoramic views from the Kari Lookout point!
- IMPORTANT: Passport name, number & nationality are required at the time of booking for all participants.

- Please bring: Closed or trekking shoes, jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water. You can also bring snacks.
- Easy difficulty tour, some slope on the ‘Great Dune’.

Valle de la Luna, more than a lunar landscape - It was a very nice tour! The surroundings are super beautiful and there is much to discover. The guide spoke very good English and told and showed a lot. He translated everything for the Spanish-speaking visitors. I'm glad I booked even more tours through this agency. Super friendly everyone and solution-oriented in small hurdles! Definitely a very good agency in San Pedro de Atacama. Before each tour you will be sent the most important information via WhatsApp so that you can prepare well.

A very nice afternoon and evening! - Awesome guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and nice who could answer all questions and had many interesting things to tell throughout the tour. She went the extra mile all the time which made the experience something extra. The tour itself is well-covered for Valle de la Luna with plenty of time to photograph and look at things. Can warmly recommend this company, have been on several excursions with them and they have been great everything!

Great guide but terrible/non responsive operator - The tour to Valle de la Luna and other tours I took were great. However, Frank the guy who booked my tours was horrific in communicating tour details. I asked if it was possible to shift the astronomical tour to a day earlier and he said he would let me know. Never heard from him so when I finished the ancestral tour I visited the office and was told I’m booked. This left me with no time to grab a warmer jacket. In addition, I booked a transfer to the airport and had communicated to him via WhatsApp the time I had to be at the airport. Three messages over 2 days and no response. Again I went to his office and was informed my pick up was at 7:30am when I informed him I had to be at the airport by 7:30am. Miguel (although didn’t speak English) was very helpful and corrected my pick up time. I recommend not booking all your tours with this agency as once they have your money they don’t care what happens to your bookings.

Other worldly experience with amazing guide - We booked the tour after seeing the great reviews online and it didn’t disappoint. The scenery was other worldly and truly stunning. Our guide Javier was amazing and really made the trip. He was really knowledgable and very passionate which made the trip as great as it was. He was so happy to answer all of our questions and to take photos of the group, would definitely recommend!

Amazing tour - The tour was amazing! We got to explore and see so many beautiful places. The tour guide spoke both English and Spanish so everyone understood the history he was talking about. Highly recommend.

Moon valley - alternative tour - Poor weather conditions closed the moon valley park (part of the intrigue of a desert vacation is its unpredictability) so I took the alternative tour offered by the company. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the atacama region's history and geology, it was a pleasure learning from him! He gave us great travel tips for the area and took us to an unforgettable spot to watch the sunset as a close to our tour.

Amazing Moon Valley - Moon Valley is amazing view on my eyes , even though we faced a little bit of challenge during the tour , but our guide still give us wonderful experience . And the last sunset comes out , and draw a beauty ending .

Great intro to the area's landscapes - Definitely worth it, but the sunset isn't quite as worth staying around for as the rest of the tour. Enjoyed seeing the beautiful vistas and moon dust sand dunes. Felt like the sunset was nice but extended the tour for the sake of extending it rather than enjoying the star of the show which was the valley and dunes themselves.

Go to this place with a different company - The guide was very kind. But I would go with a different company to this location next time. The van was hot and cramped compared to Puka Rami agency tours.
