Full Day Salt Flat Tour: Vicuñas & Flamingos in the Rustic Desert with Outdoor Lunch

The pristine hue of the salt planes strikingly offsets the earthy, vintage tints of the dessert landscape. The already idyllic scene is further enhanced by the sight of vicuñas and flamingos, a representation of the stunning indigenous wildlife, accompanied by an enjoyable outdoor lunch. An experience that will invariably etch a memory.

Highly reliable agency in San Pedro - Pukarumi agency is an excellent and highly reliable agency in San Pedro de Atacama. They organized all of our tours impeccably. They always sent us communication in advance of the tours with all the details in three languages + the vouchers. Moreover, they sorted a complicated situation for me and I cant be more thankful. We can only thank them for the excellent tours and guides, we can fully recommend them. This review does not provide feedback about this tour in particular but about the agency in general (i cannot do it on their page). We enjoyed all of our tours. Thanks so much 💜

A memorable journey - We had the pleasure of exploring La Ruta de los Salares with a very knowledgeable guide, Ulysses. His explanations were insightful and engaging. His enthusiasm for the region’s landscapes and wildlife was evident and contagious. He’s obviously invested in the past and present of the Atacama’s desert. He brought a high-quality telescope, allowing us to capture breathtaking photos on our mobile devices. One of the highlights was witnessing the moon rise over the ALMA Observatory—an awe-inspiring moment that was as special to him as it was to us. The tour took us through a quiet, remote part of the region, far from the usual crowds. The landscape was strikingly unique, with peculiar rock formations and eery lagoons with wildlife creating an almost otherworldly atmosphere. Many thanks to Caesar, our driver, who skillfully navigated the rugged roads.

It's worth it! - Highly competent guide in attention and in the field and interest in conveying as much information about geography, biology and myths of places. Unparalleled scenarios, reaching more than 4,800 meters above sea level, rising the Andes.

A fabulous day at the Salares with Francisco & Gerardo - I signed up for the tour "Ruta de los Salares", and had Francisco as the tour guide, and Gerardo as the driver. Both were very caring for the group and fun, throughout the whole day. Fransisco as a guide is also very knowledgeable about the places we visited , and a very kind and fun person. Gerardo is a wonderful driver, felt safe. To top it up, they chose a magnificent place for the group to end the tour with a breath -taking view of the Licancabur volcano. ⛰️ I hope to be back soon and would sign up for more tours with them . Strongly recommend! 😊 Thank you !

UNFORGETTABLE TOUR - The excursion went beyond our expectations. We were lucky to have the driver (I don't remember his name) and the guide "Nícolas" embarked on this adventure. Due to their attention and professionalism, we were able to discover, in addition to the natural beauty of each location, the historical context. I recommend the agency for any excursion.
