On this tour we will drive to Laguna Cejar, a lagoon in the middle of the desert, that due to the high concentration of salt you can swimm and don’t sink. You will be able to spend a very nice day and enjoy the landscaping that the desert has to offer.
The landscape is one of the most attractive of the Atacama desert, where the blue of the sky, the white of the salt, the celestial of the water and the pink of the flamingos that come to feed. It is better to always walk with shoes because the salts have sharp points that can cut the feet

Situated 20 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama, within the Salar de Atacama, lies the Cejar Lagoon. Noted for its intense Calipso hue and encircled by different types of salts, it offers a unique charm. The lagoon’s high salt content, derived from the underground water bodies formed by the melting of mountain ice, imparts an intriguing blend of mystery and amusement. Despite attempts to plunge in, the density of the water ‘throws’ us back, thus preventing from sinking. As the trip concludes, participants get to witness a breathtaking desert sunset.
