Probably the best agency - I chose package of three tours: Valle de la Luna, Laguna Cejar and Geysers del Tatio. Each excursion was different and all were worth a visit. There's a lot of agencies in San Pedro de Atacama and most of them offer those trips. Whipala Expedtion has great reviews and they offer those three tours as a package in a special price (+ I got 10% discount). Valle de la Luna truly offers lunar scenery and watching the sunset over the valley is one of the most popular attractions. There's no need to bring warm clothes (at least not in January), just bring windproof jacket. A trip to Laguna Cejar not only gives you the opportunity to see a completely different scenery, but also a unique opportunity to swim (or rather be floated) in the lagoon. Additionally, I was positively surprised by the number of snacks and drinks offered. On both trips our guide was Ernesto (Viva Cuba Libre!), who does an excellent job. We went to Geysers del Tatio with another guide, whose name I don't remember, but he also was great. I liked the organization - the day before the guide contacted me to arrange the exact time of pick-up and the next day he was on time. The heavenly views are worth getting up in the middle of the night and on the way back we stopped at several interesting places. Here I was also very positively surprised by the meal offered - the breakfast was very tasty. It is worth following the agency's advice and taking very warm clothes (in January the temperature was around zero).

Super Tour with fantastic guide. - Daniel is an fantastic and expert guide. He has lots of humor, takes very good care of everybody and tells all about the sights. We travelled with him to Tatio geysers in the morning and the Laguna Cejar. It’s a wonderful experience to see these sights. A true recommendation.

Great service - Great experience and organization! One of the best views we’ve ever seen. Special thanks to Javier and Manuel, who were amazing guides with extensive knowledge, fun facts, and positive attitudes. :) They also prepared really delicious breakfasts for us! Greetings from two Polish girls, Karolina and Magda

Your first stop in the Atacama should be Whipala Expedition! - When coming to San Pedro de Atacama, your first stop should be Whipala Expedition! We were lucky, we’d found them after an extensive search for the best tours in the area. They did not disappoint. Whipala Expedition has the best, knowledgeable, multilingual, and fun guides and selected tours. We loved Felipe and our rainbow valley tour the most. Each tour was well designed to highlight the beauty of this area. Transportation was on time, comfortable, and clean. Breakfasts and snacks were delicious with locally made breads, fresh fruits, meats/cheese, and selections of teas/cocoa/coffee. Additionally, the staff was wonderful! They helped rearrange tours for the best experience and were very knowledgeable with every question asked. We cannot speak highly enough of Whipala Expeditions! Come see for yourself!

All well except not heard anything at the moon - The guides were all informative, fun, caring. Had the best breakfasts in the mountain, though the tatio one could be at a less windy place? The valle de la luna tour i stayed at the far back so couldn't hear anything the guide was saying (also because he was driving at the same time) while the young assistant insisted she shall sit in front (honestly doing nothing). The free of charge view on our way to the moon is better than inside.

5 tours in 3 days - We booked 5 tours in 3 days apart from the guides Alexander and Xavier who were very good and professional, otherwise the overall organization of the agency was not the best. They warned us that a lagoon was closed if we wanted to replace it with another tour. Two days before we went to the agency and booked an alternative tour, the next afternoon we are told it is fully booked, obviously creating discomfort at the last moment. Two tours were carried out by two different agencies without notifying us. One of these in Pietras Rojas did not match what we had paid (tour ended at 4.30pm instead of 6.30pm). Guide explained little or nothing and lunch was ridiculous, a box with some pasta and salad eaten fast, standing, out in the cold and without coffee or hot tea.
