Great hike & great tour guide! - Victor was great! He was kind enough to organize and early morning boat pick up from Panajachel. The boat was on time and Victor was waiting for us when we got dropped off in San Pedro. The hike was short (only about 1 mile going up) but it is pretty steep for most of it. Victor was patient with the slower hikes and no one felt rushed. The views from the top were INCREDIBLE. When we were at the top we got coffee/hot chocolate and a pastry. Victor also taught us a lot about the volcanoes we were looking at and the towns. We would recommend this tour to anyone :)

Beautiful way to start the day - Victor was a wonderful guide! We added on a water taxi pickup from our dock for the early morning - they arrived on time. It was about a 40-minute hike up including rest breaks. We were the first group to the top of the mountain; it was so nice to have a peaceful moment before the other tour groups arrived. Victor shared history and facts and friendly conversation. He also led us down the mountain and away from the other groups so it really felt like we were on a special tour. He owns his own tour company and we were happy to support a local business. Absolutely worth it.

Spectacular View - The hike was worth the climb. We were a group of 8 and we were pickup by boat at 3am from Panajachel. It was a 20min boat ride and 40min hike up the mountain. It was a bit scary for my friends who had never hiked but it was peaceful to me. Plenty of other people also hiking up so you aren't too alone. It was a great experience and 💯 recommend it.

Great Hiking Experience - They gave us many options for pickup which was great and it was super close to our hotel. The hike was quick and somewhat challenging would definitely recommend taking hiking shoes and not tennis shoes. It’s a great way to start the day and it leaves with a lot of time to do other activities the same day. The views were absolutely amazing and the hot chocolate was a perfect reward once we reached the top. 10/10 recommend.

Well worth doing - Great tour and guide. Will say I found it super difficult (I’m 53, walk a lot but the incline was steep) but my daughter found it okay. Offered coffee and sweet bread at the top. Buck the guide was great, very patient with me having to stop every few minutes!

Beautiful Experience! - This hike was our introduction to Guatemala, as we got in the previous evening, and it did not disappoint! The hike was a bit steeper than I thought it would be, but it's definitely doable so worth the view. Our guide, Vick, was great and I see why he is highly recommended. He picked us up at our hotel and even had headlamps for us in case we didn't have our own. Once we got to the top, we had a cup of coffee and piece of bread which was a nice touch.
