Santa Clara La Laguna - It is a town located behind the Indian’s Nose mountain, from here we will start the walk.
Here you will find interesting viewpoints. -
Indian Nose - The walk will take us 50 minutes going up and another 50 minutes going down.
The highest peak of the mountain is known as the nose and from there we can observe the beauty of the sunrise and the magic of the sun rising over the mountains. We will stay in this beautiful place for approximately one hour and 10 minutes where we will learn a little about the towns. that surround the beautiful Lake Atitlán, the history of the lake and we will learn about the volcanoes of Lake Atitlán and some volcanoes in Antigua Guatemala from afar.

This tour was amazing!... - This tour was amazing! Sunrise on Indian Nose is so worth it. The hike takes about 40 minutes and can feel a little steep/rushed but it’s quick and so worth the views. Vic was sick the day I went, but his friend Fransisco filled in and he was a wonderful guide. We got picked up 5 min from our hotel and were able to ask for headlamps, although they didn’t have enough for everyone (one per group) so I’d still advise bringing your own if you can

Beautiful sunrise hike - Originally we had to walk up the street from our stay to meet Victor at 4 am bc of road work but at the end Victor was able to pick us up right in front of our stay. He provided me and my one friend headlamps as my other 2 friends had their own. Once the van dropped us off at the start location, it was easy to follow Victor. Two of my friends speak only Enlgish and he was able to communicate with them information about things they had questions about. When you get to the top of the Mayan face, a woman and man pass out hot chocolate or coffee and someone else comes around with bread if you want. Beautiful view of the sunrise! Victor takes pictures of you if you want. After, you get transported back to where you were picked up. Overall, if you have the chance, I would recommend this hike with Victor!

Fantastic Tour - A great tour! Joel, the guide, was so friendly and inclusive. He made sure the hiking pace was appropriate for everyone. The sunrise spot was gorgeous! The coffee and hot chocolate at the top were a bonus.

A great way to start the... - A great way to start the day. Vick was a fantastic guide getting us all to the viewpoint, where there were sweetbreads and coffee/cocoa, to see the entire sunrise. He then shared recommendations for San Juan where we requested to be dropped off. Highly recommend!

AMAZING sunrise tour with Tours with Vick - Honestly the most beautiful sunrise hike I have ever done. The views of the sunrise, the volcanoes and the lake are absolutely amazing.
Despite how popular this hike is, Vick’s group sizes are smaller which was super nice and allowed us to get to the viewpoint early and get the best seat to view the sunrise.
Vick speaks English (and Spanish) and is super knowledgeable about the area. He provided us information about the volcanoes and the villages of Lake Atitlán and showed us some of the avocado and coffee trees.
Vick was very communicative in advance of our tour, advising us of our pick up location and time.
This hike was a must-do for us on the lake and Vick made it a memorable experience.
Highly highly recommend!!

Highly recommend! - A must do at Lake Atitlan, the sunrise was stunning and you could see all the mountains/volcanos. Our guide was very patient with us going up the mountain, and there was drinks and snacks at the top. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous sunrise hike - Great sunrise hike!! Really appreciate how communicative Vick was on WhatsApp and made sure we knew where to meet him. Also we were one of the first groups to the viewpoint, and got amazing seats to view the sunrise. The hot chocolate and sweet bread at the top was delicious. Vick was patient and let us take our time on the hike. It only took about 30 minutes to get to the top. He made the whole excursion a very smooth process. Would highly recommend!

A great day in San Juan with Vick! - We booked two back-to-back activities with Vick - a hike to the Indian nose at sunrise, and a bean-to-cup coffee tour. What resulted was a fun day in San Juan la Laguna - Vick is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He liked to stop and show us different aspects of nature during the hike. We also had the time to stop for breakfast before the coffee tour. The tour was around San Juan, so it was a great opportunity to walk around the town, learn about the coffee making process, and also taste some great coffee! We thank Vick for a lovely day he had organised for us - it felt that we were meeting up with a local friend who showed us around! We absolutely recommend getting in touch with him to make your stay in lake atitlan a memorable experience!

Unreal sunrise hike overlooking Lake Atitlan! - Thank you Vick for an amazing experience! This was a great way to start off our stay on Lake Atitlan. It was a bit difficult as it was my first day on the lake and I was not used to the altitude, but Vick was patient and very kind. We had a great time and enjoyed the hot chocolate and pastry at the top. Don’t miss out on this hike next time you are visiting Lake Atitlan.
