Loved everything about this tour! - We took this tour as a group of 2 families, with the youngest child being 4 years old. I can't recommend it highly enough. It was educational, fun, delicious, and absolutely beautiful. The tour included information and tastings of chocolate, coffee, and sugar cane. The kids learned so much and loved the hands-on experiences of grinding coffee beans and juicing sugar cane. Our guide was so knowledgeable and engaging. The tour is involves a lot of information but a very short walk - not strenuous at all. However, the optional hike at the end to the beautiful waterfall was slightly steep and gorgeous! Well worth it.

A very yummy experience - Although we’d done a similar tour in the past, there’s just no other way of tasting chocolate this fresh and yummy, so we did it again! The tour was very laid back and enjoyable. For the minimal price, I’m surprised at everything you get and the time they take to explain things in great detail.

Fun and educational!... - Fun and educational! Definitely the highlight from our time in La Fortuna. Tasted my first cocoa bean straight from the pod. Made our own chocolate. Our guides were the best!

Fantastic! - I'm so glad we chose this particular place for a chocolate and coffee tour, couldn't have been better everything was great! The place was owned by a very nice family who guided us through their garden and through the chocolate and coffee process. We got to taste the juice from sugar cane, freshly ground coffee and make our own chocolate from scratch. The whole experience was so genuine and authentic and you could tell that the family was passionate about what they were doing. Highly recommend this place, nice with the waterfall you could walk to at the end of the tour.

Excellent experience in a beautiful location - This was a fabulous and very education tour which I would highly recommend. It was slow paced with tons of details about the various plants and processes used to make coffee and chocolate. The sampling of everything along the way was amazing.

Best Tour of Its Kind - This was an amazing tour. We only had four people on the tour, so it was very personalized. Martin led us through his family farm and taught us all about the plants. Then we learned about sugar cane, cocoa, and coffee. The birds were amazing too! Highly recommend!
