Amazing but more walking... - Amazing but more walking than ziplining! Don’t opt for photo package its waste of money you don’t get any videos too!

Exhilarating Family Day - Terrifying fun! Our family of 5, (51, 48, 23, 22, and 15) chose the combo tour with repelling, ziplining and horseback riding. It was so much fun that we are still talking about it months later.
Everyone starts at the tour headquarters and goes through the safety training together. Then you all ride a train to the starting spot. Our family did a couple of zip lines with the big zip lining group. Then our family of 5 broke off from the big group with our two guides and did small hike to the repelling spot. Everyone in my family did great at the repelling except for me. I hit spot where my short legs had me jumping out over and over without going down. The guides were great and let out more rope and got me going again. My kids love to watch the video and may fun of my repel! The bottom of the canyon was amazing. There are two waterfalls coming into the canyon. We spent a few minutes enjoying nature and taking some pictures and then started the scariest part of the day: the ladder climb back to the top. You have to climb so many ladders that are hanging off the side of the mountain and it is honestly terrifying. But you are harnessed and the guides are there to reassure you. Once we got to the top, we did another short hike back to our next zip line. We completed the rest of our zip lines. The guides told us some history about the area and pointed out some interesting things as we went. Once we completed the zip lines. We walked to a barn and got on our hoses and did a short horseback ride mostly along a stream. Then we went back to the headquarters where we were given a snack. It was an amazing family day and I highly recommend.

Best Experience while in Arenal - Wow! Even though the conditions were not ideal (raining, water was highest it’s been, etc) the team made this a memorable experience for our family. Friendly, good natured staff and their priority was safety!

Thrill Seeking in Costa Rica! - My husband and I did the Combo Rappel Tour with Alex and Marcos as our guides on the morning of September 11. We got a private trip because there was no one else signed up for the combo rappel. We had no experience rappelling before and limited zip lining experience. Alex and Marcos did a great job at making us feel comfortable and capable for all the activities! The rappelling was definitely a little scary but so exhilarating! You can take it at your own pace whether you want to zip down to the bottom or descend slowly. Make sure that your clothing can get dirty because it was very muddy! The waterfall you rappel down is absolutely gorgeous, and the view at the bottom is unparalleled. I only wish that we had a little more time at the bottom of the falls to enjoy the view. Our guides were happy to take pictures for us on our cell phones which was very appreciated! The zip lining was a lot of fun as well, and there was a good variety of lines with some fast ones and other long ones, and even one with a great view of Fortuna Waterfall. We enjoyed the Maleku village a lot, especially the traditional drink that we got to try, and we purchased a mask there to support the tribe and as a memento of our trip. Finally, the horseback riding brought us back to reception, and the horses were well-behaved even for inexperienced riders. Overall, we had a great adrenaline-filled time at Arenal Mundo Aventura and would definitely do another trip with them! Thank you Alex and Marcos!

Thrilling adventure! - This was a highlight of our trip! I enjoy adventures like this, but it's newer for my wife. The rapel and climb back up the ladder had my heart going, and it wasn't too much for my wife. She had a blast, said the ladder was scary, but fun. If you are contemplating doing just the zip lining or the zip lining + rappel, do the rappel. We had a much smaller group (8 of us) than the just zip lining group (30+), so we moved a lot more quickly through the zip lines and it felt more like a personal experience with much less people. Plus, the rapel is so unique and everyone on the tour agreed. Zip lines were also really cool with views of waterfall, you get moving pretty fast. Recommend this tour!

Choose Arenal Mundo Aventura - We absolutely loved our experience. The staff were professional and patient while I figured out what I was doing as a first time zip liner. The views were breath taking. We highly recommend Arenal Mundo Adventura. Alonso and Daniel made our trip unforgettable with their kindness and hospitality.

A rainforest experience! - This was such an amazing experience! So much fun!
Started by Signing waivers and putting belongings in small lockers- you can only carry a Fanny pack; phones must be in zipper pocket or in a Fanny pack. No hats are allowed. If you have long hair put it in bun that’s low (it can get stuck in ropes- it will have to be cut off if that happens). Get your gear put on and watch a quick safety video.
Started off with a tractor bus ride to the first zip line (12 in total). Then we did the waterfall rappelling! (You do not touch the waterfall water while doing this.. it’s done to the side of the waterfall) This took very long to get started. I think one of the guides was training. The rappelling is HARD WORK!!!!!!! It’s a workout going down and a workout climbing up the ladder to get back up!! It’s literally multiple ladders put together, it’s wobbly and you gotta keep your balance going all the way up! (And for reference I am an active person, go to gym and run trails lol- it was very exhausting for me!) The workout is totally worth it!! It’s fun and you end up at the bottom of the amazing waterfall! After this we moved along to more zip-lining where it started raining! It was beautiful to be in the rainforest while it rained! Such an experience! Although…. the rain did pick up and it was pouring and storming! Yes we were soaked!! So just be prepared for rain lol your Fanny pack should be waterproof! Or atleast have your belongs on a ziplock bag to keep dry Because anything inside will be soaked! We rushed through the last couple of zip lines and stopped at a small hut to get a brief welcome from the indigenous people- we tried a punch they made and they showed us their masks they hand make! We then walked over to finish the adventure by riding the horses back to the start of the trip!
The only things that I would not give 5 stars to about the trip was there were not enough pics or even quality pics taken and we bought the package that was supposedly discounted because he couldn’t take pics during the rain (understandable that he couldn’t during the rain) but there was no effort of getting good or quality pics during the beginning when the weather was nice or at the end when we were horse back riding. When we got the pictures we were disappointed we paid $25 per person-For pics that weren’t so good and not enough. We got better pics ourselves with our cellphones. Also, the lunch included is not a lunch- it’s a snack. We got a banana granola bar and an apple. So I think that should be worded differently. Oh and just FYI when zip lining in the rain… the rain hurts! And you can’t see lol (so maybe having goggle or shield available would be best).
Overall we enjoyed this experience! It was fun and would definitely recommend it! The guides were friendly and helpful!
