Good introduction to Mayan history and the natural beauty of El Salvador - This trip was a good fill day trip, covering a lot of area physically and culturally. The Mayan shores we visited were very interesting. Adonis, our guide, was very informative and interesting. I feel like we had plenty of time at the sites, to see everything. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us seeing the volcano, but the walk through the rainforest was still good. Anyone wanting a closer experience with volcanoes would probably be better with a hiking tour, but this easy trip was ideal for my husband and I.

Great trip! - Traveling during the rainy season can definitely be hit or miss, but the weather cooperated the entire day giving us beautiful views of the volcanoes and ruins. The trip ended up being all solo travelers which was a great experience and we got to connect over lunch. Cerro Verde national park is gorgeous and I really enjoyed the San Andres Mayan ruins. Our guide, Alfredo, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought along examples of everything he was talking about. Highly recommend!

Great outdoors day. - Alfredo was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and kind. Three gentleman joined us on the tour and we all had so much fun! We altered our itinerary a little and Alfredo was very accommodating. We took breathtaking photos, photos and videos. If you’re into the history and nature and views, this is for you. 🗿Mayan ruins, Lago De Coatepeque & Cerro Verde in 1 day - Alfredo was very accommodating. We asked him if we could eat overlooking Lago de Coatepeque as we had already tried Casa 1800 in Suchitoto. Not only did he accommodate us, he even made reservations to save on time. We enjoyed the views at each stop, and learning about the Mayan history and seeing all the artifacts. A must-see for anyone who loves ruins (San Andres) and learning about Mayan culture.

Awesome trip - Loved this trip. We only had 2 full days in San Salvador and crammed them with 2 day trips. The shuttle bus arrived on time. Had a wonderful lunch at Cerro Verde.

Informative and Scenic - Growing up mexican decent, I was aware of Aztec history. I was amazing to hear and see a Different but Similar culture with the Mayan Ruins. Guide Adonis was excellent and was knew his stuff. The nature hike around volcano seemed a little rush, like trying to get from point a to point b with little time in between, but I was still able to get some great nature shots. Adonis was able to translate local Spanish guide for English speakers. Overall great experience. Highly recommend to get starting history and scenic beauty of El Salvador

Nice way to get some views of surrounding area. But a bit misleading information around what's actually included (no volcano/lak - Nice tour of the surrounding area of San Salvador. Be aware that most of what is described in the headline isn't actually included. You get views of volcanoes nad the lake but there's no hike/visit of any of those. A bit false/misleading advertising and the 1800 Restaurant where we ate is quite overpriced and really messed up our order of steaks for $20 which came smaller and overcooked. Our guide was very nice but it's just a bit disappointing when you expect something that isn't delivered.

Interesting tour but.... - The tour itself is interesting but I wish we had a different guide. I was on the tour with 2 other people who were also traveling solo. During the ride to the sites, Ado mostly only talked to us when we asked questions. He seemed distracted taking video, texting and talking on the phone while driving. At the Mayan site he shared a lot of information that was interesting. Unfortunately, the volcano was covered in clouds so we ate lunch and the group decided to go back to San Salvador as it starting raining. Luckily, I had already been on 2 Viator trips with fantastic guides and had already learned quite a bit about the history and politics of the country.

Only Mayan Tour - The Mayan Sites was good, the guide, Adobis explained well. But unfortunately we were not able to see Vocanoes or Lake since the weather was so cloudy.
