Amazing work by the best president in the world today - Amazing Experience in the Historic District of San Salvador** Visiting the historic district of San Salvador has been an incredible and enlightening experience. The vibrant energy and the warmth of the people are truly heartwarming. It's inspiring to see how life has blossomed in this area, especially knowing the challenges the community faced in the past. After the dark and difficult days following the civil war, it's uplifting to witness how the city has transformed into a space of peace and renewal. The colorful streets, rich culture, and resilience of the locals make this district a must-visit. It's a testament to the strength and hope of the people, and a reminder of the beauty that comes after hardship. I highly recommend spending time here if you want to truly connect with the heart of El Salvador.

Great way to get to know the city - This walking Tour was very good! Highly recommended if this is your first time in San Salvador. If you have mobility issues, please reconsider. Walking is the only way to see the city and appreciate what it has to offer.

Perfect combo of city plus nature tour - After having such a great experience with Melissa on the full day Ruta de las Flores tour, we decided to do another tour. I was hesitant to explore the city center area on my own with my two kids, so I thought it’d be helpful to be led through the area with a guide. We started the tour by visiting the church with the incredible stained glass. It also has a very unique modern expression of the stations of the cross. We visited another cathedral, the main square, and the new library. It was a great overview of the important places in the city center. Ricardo also gave us a lot of context with the history of the space. We then drove out to El Boquerón National Park. It’s an easy walk up steps to the lookout points. We wrapped up the tour with a stop at a great pupusa place with an incredible view of the city. We tried a few other dishes besides the pupusas that Ricardo helped explain. This tour was a perfect combo of the city and nature that doesn’t require the whole day. Highly recommend. Thank you Ricardo for a lovely day!

Beautiful San Salvador - Melissa had so much knowledge to share and was such a fun tour guide. The city portion of the tour gave us insight into some amazing churches and government buildings. The lunch and volcano portion was breathtaking. The weather change between the two sights was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

San Salvador Trek - Did this tour with guide Lisbeth and driver Alessandro. From the start of the booking exp and airport pickup to the day trip was seamless. This is a very professional company that kept me in the loop as to when things would happen. Lisbeth is an excellent guide. Very personable and knowledgeable. We walked around the center of San Salvador and that was a fantastic experience. Was accommodating when I wanted to walk around the local market area. If you want to explore this country EC is the way to go. Lisbeth is the best!

Don’t skip this tour! - I can’t recommend this tour enough! My best friend and I were spending 3 days in El Salvador and saved this tour for our last day. It was an incredible way to end our trip. Our guide was Gerson. We had great guides for our other tours but honestly, Gerson (and Caesar!) was our favorite. It was just me and my friend so it was a very personalized tour. We saw SO much! Including the man and his exercise buddy (I won’t ruin the surprise but ask about it!) which Gerson hadn’t even seen before! He taught us so much about the history of El Salvador and San Salvador as well as the culture and life there. He made sure we saw all that we could and asked if there were other things we wanted to see. The best part was that we felt so safe. Two women in San Salvador…part of me was nervous beforehand but it’s really safe there and having someone else with us helped too, of course. My friend and I had previously considered just walking around but within 15 min of the tour, we knew we’d never see what we saw with Gerson or learn as much as we did. He was personable, informative, super nice, and hilarious. And the pupusas??!! I could live on those pupusas alone (and we learned how to eat them the “right” way lol) By the end of the day, it felt like we were spending time with two friends (who introduced us to some great music too!). We spent the day walking the city, learning, laughing, and making great memories. I truly hope to be able to go back and I’d love to take another tour with EC, especially if we can get the same guide! Thank you so much for the incredible experience, EC and Gerson! If you’re on the fence about this tour, book it. You won’t be disappointed.
