Set off on an unforgettable journey to explore some of the most renowned beach destinations in El Salvador, situated in La Libertad.
The first destination is the delightful village of Tamanique, where the adventure begins with a 4-mile (round trip) hike to the awe-inspiring Tamanique Waterfalls. The trail involves descending stairs from the mountains into the canyon, requiring moderate physical exertion and suitable footwear. Upon arrival, three magnificent waterfalls await, each featuring natural pools of invigorating cold water—ideal for a refreshing swim amidst nature.

Following this jungle escapade, the next stop is El Tunco, one of the most iconic villages in Surf City. Here, there is free time to stroll around, immerse in the surf culture, explore local shops and eateries, or simply relish the picturesque coastline. It is important to note that during high tide, the sandy beach may temporarily vanish, affecting swimming conditions.
At 2:30 p.m., the return journey will commence.
