Great Getaway - It was a leisurely scenic drive, and San Sebastián del Oeste was a nice change from the resort.
Lunch was very good. We did not feel pressured to buy stuff the whole time.
Emma was a great tour guide, and we felt safe with Antonio behind the wheel.

Amazing town - The tour itself is amazing. Raul was our guide and was patient enough to wait for my husband and I after there was some sort of mix up with the hotel pickup.
Very informative and quiet town. The church is beautiful. Lunch was delicious.
The road to get to San sebastian is bumpy was the only bad thing but totally worth it.

Long day but loved every minute of it, Go!! - We were picked up on time and the bus was comfortable and had good air conditioning. The guide, David, was very knowledgeable, professional and approachable, candidly addressing questions. The stops were fun, well spaced out and the scenery beautiful. The driver, Danny, was also very good, considerate. The meal that was included was fantastic! We were given ample time to explore. I would go again. 10/10 recommend.

Hands on culural experience - A full day of a cultural, historic, and food tour. Our guide Franco was well informed, articulate, and interesting. He took care to cover as many points of interest on our bus ride from PV throughout the countryside, to San Sebastian from tasting hibiscus flowers, buying fruit from road stands, feeling agave leaves, identifying exotic fruit trees and wild poinsettias, to understanding coffee and tequila processing with tastings. He was attentive and responsible for the group's well being and experiences and our driver, Julio, was efficient and added personality and humor. He was a skilled driver. A thoroughly enjoyable and educational tour!

Good fun. - It was a very pretty drive into the hills. A nice break from the humidity. The tequila stop was quite fun. And San Sebastián is a really pretty and rustic town. The lunch was good and the shopping was fun. The coffee stop was interesting and our guide was very entertaining.

40 Miles of Bad Road. - While the Tour Guide, Omar and Driver Carlos were both very friendly and helpful.
San Sebastián itself is a very historically unchanged village.
However the actual road trip was brutal. The main roads have Significant speed bumps every 50~100 yards. Sitting in the rear of the 12-pass Bus every sudden jar was spine-numbing.
The other half of the distance was rough cobblestone. Not well dampened by the truck-like suspension of the Mercedes bus.

Worth it for the most part! - Really great tour. Raul? was an excellent host, constantly talking, joking, asking questions & most importantly, updating us on the journey. Architecture, crops & history of the land. Tour went super smoothly & was very interesting. Only bummer was the fact that we couldn't tour the opal? mine as was mentioned on our way up. Apparently some miscommunication. Was really looking forward to that. Otherwise, a very genial & professional guide!

Wanted to love this, but couldn't. - I really wanted to love this tour as I have been to several pueblo magicos. The ride soured it for us. We were the 1st ones picked up (9:15 AM) and the last ones dropped off (6:15 PM). The suspension was poor and the ride was so bumpy my fit bit thought I was walking. My back and neck are still sore from it. There is minimal leg space and I am short. Couldn't imagine a taller person taking this tour. There was a weird film on the windows, so you couldn't see out clearly. We had a bathroom stop and our seats were taken(even though the guide said they would be saved) had to move to the back where the ride got worse. It was rougher, no windows and the AC wasn't working.
The tour guide would start talking prior to the entire group being there, so you either missed out or couldn't hear.
The tequila tasting and the food were the best parts of the tour. The town is charming, but nothing to do there. Save your money or use a different tour group.

I really wanted to love this tour - I wanted to love this tour, as I have been to other Pueblo Magicos. The driver picked us up 1st and when we made a stop for the bathroom and to pick up more passengers our seats, that would remain ours we're taken. We had to move to the back and you couldn't see anything. Most uncomfortable ride, felt like the suspension was off. There was a film over the windows and everyone else complained of having poor visibility. The best part was the tequila tasting. Not much to do in San Sebastian and the tour guide didn't wait for the group to start talking. So you either missed out or couldn't hear. Save your money!
