10/10 Highly recommend! Learn about Rioja and their wines! Super easy and convenient! - Absolutely amazing! Matteo was an awesome tour guide and really helped us learn more about Rioja, San Sebastián, and Basque Country. We went to two very different wineries in Rioja, Bodegas Titrium and Luis Cañas. Both were great tastings where you learned about great family winery history and drank a variety of wine. We finished with lunch in a small town of La Guardia before heading back to San Sebastián. 10/10, highly recommend if you love wine and want to see Rioja. The region is beautiful and Matteo is a great driver, tour guide, and organizer!

10/10, Absolutely exceeded expectations! An easy and fun experience to learn about Rioja and family wineries! - My wife and I had an awesome tour with Matteo to Rioja Alavesa. Matteo picked us up perfectly from our hotel in San Sebastian and it was an easy 2hr ride to Rioja. The scenery on the drive is amazing and Matteo is one of the nicest and educated tour guides we have had. He took us to Tritium Bodega (winery) first and we joined a group tasting. Our wine educator there was absolutely amazing. She gave us a tour of their 14th century caves underground and really told a story about how they make their wine. You can definitely see the passion. They make special Riojas and push innovation at Tritium and pride themselves of wine outside of the classic rioja productions. Next, Matteo took us to Luis Canas, a very cool family winery that was more of a normal wine tasting you would expect. Our wine educator there was super thoughtful and we had a great time tasting their classic reservas and gran reservas. The landscaping of all the wineries are amazing to see and you can really feel the family feel out of these wineries in Rioja. We then finished in a small town of La Guardia to eat pinxtos before heading back to San Sebastián. The entire tour was 10/10 and exceeded our expectations. We loved learning about Rioja and definitely want to come back in the future. If you want a great tour guide for anywhere in San Sebastián/Bilbao/Rioja or anywhere near Basque Country, Matteo is your guy.

Best private tour of Rioja! - This wine tour was fantastic! Matteo was such an excellent guide and was so knowledgeable about the wine and area! The vineyards were exceptional and lunch could not have had a better view! 5 stars out of 5! Book with him, you won’t regret it!

Visit to La Rioja - Our experience was great!! He arrived on time for the appointment, he took us to 3 wineries in the Roja area, then to Laguardia to eat! His treatment was very kind and gentle! We highly recommend it. Thank you Matteo!!

A Marvelous Wine & Food Experience - We had a wonderful day of majestic views, wine and food with our guide Matteo! We took a private tour and we were picked up in our hotel lobby. The drive to the Rioja region mountains was beautiful and when we arrived we received a private tour of the first winery (known as bodegas in Spain) by our gracious sommelier followed by wine tasting. We visited a second bodega with amazing wines and beautiful interior design. Then we went into the medieval town of La Guardia for a delicious lunch before heading back to our hotel. Thank you Matteo for a wonderful experience that we will never forget!

Win wine - One of the best tours we have been so far. Everything was simply great: sunny day, hot and excellent locations and views! Shout out to Matteo, our guide, who was so welcoming and always with a smile! He is so much fun and got us to try great wines and gave us a great lecture and tips to enjoy a good wine.
