Adventurous and informative day trip - Our guide Mo gave us an impressive day with lots of new information during the tour. Mo is a wonderful narrator who could explain everything to us well and understandably. We were particularly impressed by the places of Nelson Mandela's life and the visit to Soweto. In particular, the project “One World Children’s Found” in the township of Soweto has been impressive. During this day trip we learned a lot of new things.

A culturally-enriching and fun tour of Joburg - Mo is amongst the best tour guides that I’ve ever come across - knowledgeable, polite, considerate, funny. He showed us some of the most important touristic spots and then passionately spoke and showed us about the work he’s doing for his community. An amazing day exploring Joburg that I widely recommend.

Great tour to see Johannesburg and Soweto - Great tour to meet Johannesburg and Soweto. Guide Mo was spectacular. Much learning about the history of the city and South Africa. Includes the Apartheid Museum (self-guided tour). In Soweto, one visits a local community, where one sees the reality of the poor population. It also includes a visit to Nelson Mandela's home in Soweto, in addition to the Hector Pieterson memorial, which is on a square. There are several souvenir bars in Soweto, but it is necessary to negotiate the value, as no product has a price label.

Soweto, Johannesburg, goldrush, Mandela history. - We toured 2 days in the region. Day 1 with Mo was great with lots of very interesting historical facts on SA, apartheid & Mandela. Highlights of day 1: 1. the kliptown youth program in Soweto in which he is personally active. 2. The football game in the Orlando Pirates Stadion against Supersport United. On day 2 Banele toured with us from the Constitutions Hill through Joburg to the Apartheidsmuseum. Another very interesting day. Both guides took great care of us all. Thank you very much for sharing your country’s history and daily life experiences with us.
