The trail to the Rio Seco waterfall begins on the Toco Main Road where the beautiful Salybia River flows lazily into the ocean. The trail winds through the primary rainforest of Matura that most times over looks the bubbling river. Through the tropical rainforest, dominating species such as the Mora are seen at different stages of life.
The trail would take approximately 40-50 minutes hike, with a rating of 4/10.

The journey to Rio Seco waterfall commences at Toco Main Road where the picturesque Salybia River peacefully merges with the sea. The pathway meanders through the dense Matura rainforest, often providing views of the lively river. Within the lush rainforest, dominant plants like the Mora are visible in various stages of growth. It takes around an hour to traverse the trail one way, and it has a difficulty rating of 4/10 (Moderate Difficulty). It’s necessary for hikers to be dressed appropriately for a muddy trail with proper footwear and clothes.
