Moose stalking in Sweden's forests - We spent an unforgettable afternoon & evening with David in the wilderness of the Tiveden region, which we still tell ourselves about. With our small group of 8 people (no more fit in the car, so upper limit - which is great!) we went into the forest, where we made a campfire together and David gave us a little "moose science" in German during the preparation of a typical Swedish wilderness meal* - with lots of materials as well as antlers to explain. (*what I won't reveal, otherwise the anticipation is gone - but it was very delicious, that's to be revealed) Then we went on a small game to look for traces and after the dessert baked in the meantime by car on a moose hunt. Here it didn't take long for us to see the first moose and later 3 more - even if they stood further away, but this is just nature and not predictable like in the zoo. If you really want to see the animals up close, you better go to one, but with David it becomes a real wilderness experience with a lot of outdoor know-how and we got our money's worth. Highly recommended! On the next trip to Sweden we will book David again, then we'll go to the wolves...

Completely successful and unforgettable experience - David does his job as a tour guide really well and we really enjoyed experiencing his authentic euphoria and love for nature and wildlife in Sweden. By eating together in advance, the group can get to know each other and you get the opportunity to learn a lot about moose. We have the impression that David’s many years of experience mean that the chances of seeing a moose are quite high and we were able to spot two moose despite not quite ideal weather conditions. We will remember this tour positively for a long time:)

Funny, personal, chilling, interesting, just recommended :) - David is a funny guide, our group had a chilling time sitting around a fire, observing how David‘s Swedish meal has been cooked and getting much information about Swedish nature, the moose of course and also some Skandinavian history :) We finally saw some moose as well, Yee-haw!

Great moose safari - David is a very knowledgeable person with a passion for nature. He is also a great storyteller! The day of our trip it was rainy and windy, which makes it harder to spot mooses. But David stayed positive and went the extra mile to find a moose. The wait was worth it when we finally saw one! It is nice to experience Tiveden with a local to learn more about nature and history.

wonderful experience, highly recommended - The moose safari was one of the highlights of our vacation in Sweden. David is a devoted and very knowledgeable guide as well as being a kind, funny and considerate person. We learnt a lot about moose, the forest and the area. David told us some very interesting personal stories as well. We were a family of four and there was another family of four. Perfect group size. The meal, cooked by David on the fire, was great, including the vegan option. We saw two moose quite late in the evening, which made us very happy. Overall, this was a wonderful experience in the wild of Sweden, highly recommended. We will be back! Thank you so much, David.

The tour guide is a friendly moose in human form - Summary: David, the tour guide, is a real natural person and knows everything that grows and crawls and flees. Besides, he is a really nice guy and takes very good care of his guests. We saw 3 moose and learned a lot about the Swedish forest and its inhabitants. We had a very good time and can highly recommend the tour. Background: We were two German families, together 8 people, plus David. The children (11 - 15) made fires under his guidance (I saw and smelled Kienspan live in action for the first time here) to keep the mosquitoes away. After a round of getting to know each other, there were stories about the nature reserve and the moose. At the same time David baked original Swedish forest pancakes on the fire, which were served with cranberry jam. Very delicious. David had loads of authentic visual material to touch, examine, smell and handle, which he used very well and always funny. We could hole him with questions about the moose, he knew sums up everything. He's a moose in human form. We will never forget his live portrait of a moose at a bridal show. After a walk in the woods, dusk fell and David's car started. We drove through the woods and actually saw the first moose after a short time. The animals are rather shy, but David knows where to find them. As it got darker, he brought a handlight to the start, which he used to scour the forest while driving slowly. In the end we had seen 3 moose and various other animals. Just a great event. No mass tourism.

Highly recommended! - We had a very entertaining, informative, interesting afternoon/evening in the forests of Sweden. We learned a lot, laughed and ate delicious. Due to the weather-first wind, then rain-we did not have the optimal conditions for moose sightings. But true to David’s motto: “Never give up” we drove through the woods (much longer than in the given time window) until we were also allowed to experience our personal “Moose moment” 🤩 🫎. Thank you very much.

Top memory with my friend and her daughter. - David is a very nice and enthusiastic guide who knows a lot about moose and nature. Even though the weather was not so good, we had a very nice day, the food was well prepared and at the end we saw 2 moose. This was really lucky because of the weather. Thank you very much David and good luck with guides.

THE memory of Sweden - wow what a great experience this was! the weather wasn't that good, but thanks to the caring side of guide david, it was comfortable and we saw a moose couple! Also the food prepared on the campfire, David's sense of humor and everything he knows about the forest and the moose, make this THE memory of Sweden for us! Best wishes for you David! Vera & José
