wonderful experience, highly recommended - The moose safari was one of the highlights of our vacation in Sweden. David is a devoted and very knowledgeable guide as well as being a kind, funny and considerate person. We learnt a lot about moose, the forest and the area. David told us some very interesting personal stories as well. We were a family of four and there was another family of four. Perfect group size. The meal, cooked by David on the fire, was great, including the vegan option. We saw two moose quite late in the evening, which made us very happy. Overall, this was a wonderful experience in the wild of Sweden, highly recommended. We will be back! Thank you so much, David.

The tour guide is a friendly moose in human form - Summary: David, the tour guide, is a real natural person and knows everything that grows and crawls and flees. Besides, he is a really nice guy and takes very good care of his guests. We saw 3 moose and learned a lot about the Swedish forest and its inhabitants. We had a very good time and can highly recommend the tour. Background: We were two German families, together 8 people, plus David. The children (11 - 15) made fires under his guidance (I saw and smelled Kienspan live in action for the first time here) to keep the mosquitoes away. After a round of getting to know each other, there were stories about the nature reserve and the moose. At the same time David baked original Swedish forest pancakes on the fire, which were served with cranberry jam. Very delicious. David had loads of authentic visual material to touch, examine, smell and handle, which he used very well and always funny. We could hole him with questions about the moose, he knew sums up everything. He's a moose in human form. We will never forget his live portrait of a moose at a bridal show. After a walk in the woods, dusk fell and David's car started. We drove through the woods and actually saw the first moose after a short time. The animals are rather shy, but David knows where to find them. As it got darker, he brought a handlight to the start, which he used to scour the forest while driving slowly. In the end we had seen 3 moose and various other animals. Just a great event. No mass tourism.

Highly recommended! - We had a very entertaining, informative, interesting afternoon/evening in the forests of Sweden. We learned a lot, laughed and ate delicious. Due to the weather-first wind, then rain-we did not have the optimal conditions for moose sightings. But true to David’s motto: “Never give up” we drove through the woods (much longer than in the given time window) until we were also allowed to experience our personal “Moose moment” 🤩 🫎. Thank you very much.

Top memory with my friend and her daughter. - David is a very nice and enthusiastic guide who knows a lot about moose and nature. Even though the weather was not so good, we had a very nice day, the food was well prepared and at the end we saw 2 moose. This was really lucky because of the weather. Thank you very much David and good luck with guides.

Also the food prepared on the campfire, David's sense of humor and everything he knows about the forest and the moose, make this THE memory of Sweden for us! Best wishes for you David! Vera & José

cool moose safari - Super fun tour with a guide who knows what he is talking about. He also knows how to involve children and inspire them. David speaks very good English and really wants you to have a good time. Which he manages to do without much effort. What a positive energy this man has.

Fantastic experience. - The activity is highly recommended, we were the whole family and I do not know if the girls or the elders enjoyed more. The setting itself is wonderful, the camp, the talk in the middle of the forest, a small walk, a simple dinner on fire... a delight. The moose sighting is done from the van to not chase the animals away and depending on the day you can see more or less, we saw 5, two of them well, the rest a little worse because of the darkness. We also saw fawns and rabbits. David is a fantastic Guide who conveys his knowledge well and entertains with his personal stories. We asked for the tour in Spanish and when another family came it was done in English and Spanish, which rests a little dynamism. In short, we spent a magical afternoon / night that I recommend without hesitation.

Successful trip despite few elk spotted.... - Very nice afternoon / evening had with David. Unfortunately only seen 2 elk, but the enthusiasm with which David told beforehand and the way he explained nature and elk especially to the children (of the other couples). Meanwhile, cooking a typical Swedish dish for all on a wood fire completed the tour. Highly recommended!

Into the wild with David (with some moose on the side) - David is such a great and enthusiastic guide. He's from the region, knows everything there is to know about it, so you can ask him anything and get a 10 minute anekdote in return. The moose only come out at dawn, so you have all the time to spend time in nature, do short walks, eat from the fire and just have a fun time with your little group. We did the tour with our two city slicker daughters (15 and 18 years) and they loved it as well. Once you go out to look for moose, you feel like you're on an actual safari, looking for wild animals. Overall a great experience!

Moose Safari in Tiveden - Very good and interesting experience! We spent several hours in the nature and around the fire learning a lot about mooses. This is the best experience in Sweden for my 9 years old daughter. David is the best nature guide I met! We spotted two mooses. Thanks for the experience
