- Orotina - Explore the Amazing Cloud Forests of Costa Rica on this Monteverde Tour. Your tour starts in the morning when you get picked up from your San Jose area hotel and you will then travel towards the Northern Part of the country on a very scenic drive, with great views of beautiful mountain ranges, local towns, farms, and the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. On the way to Monteverde, you will also enjoy multiple stops to see most of Costa Rica. Stop briefly at the largest fruit stand of the country, where you will learn about a huge variety of tropical fruits.
- Puerto Caldera - Continue your tour with a stop at Caldera, where you will visit a place where many white-faced capuchin monkeys are normally observed in the wild at a remarkably close range.
- Coyolar - Take great photos of amazing landscapes on your way up to the Monteverde Mountains, a couple of stops will be made in look-out points where beautiful views of the Nicoya Gulf and the Monteverde Mountain Range can be seen on clear days.

Selvatura - Once in Monteverde, you will savor a delicious lunch near the town of Santa Elena and then you will proceed to do the amazing hanging bridges tour in the Cloud Forest at Selvatura Park, where you will hike with your guide for about 2-3 hours admiring the beauties of this rare Eco-system and searching for the local wildlife, such as monkeys, emerald toucans, coatimundis, and the rare resplendent quetzal, the most beautiful bird of Costa Rica. This hike is approx. 3 kilometers long (1.9 miles) and it’s done mostly on flat terrain with a few mild climbs.
Late in the afternoon, we will take you back to your San Jose hotel or we can take you to your centrally located hotel in Monteverde if you are planning to stay in that area after the tour.

Wonderful trip, the guide... - Wonderful trip, the guide on route to the cloud forest was very informative and happy to give you space as its an early start. The guide at the cloud forest was excellent at spotting hidden animals, which would likely be impossible without guidance as they're so well hidden! Monteverde feels like such a unique setting, with its bridges that take you across the tree tops. Bear in mind this is a very long trip (left at 6:30am and got home at 7:00pm) but well worth it to see Monteverde.

Hanging bridges tour - Very good trip to the hanging bridges. Tour guide Alex was very friendly and helpful along thw way teaching us some things about his country and a bit of Spanish. The included lunch was good. The guide provided for the hanging bridged was also very knowledgeable and made our time there fun (Steven). Only downside to the day is the long travel time however there are some stops along the way to make it more comfortable and I would say that the day is worth it.

Wonderful day ! - We had a great day with our guide Alex. Luckily, there were only two of us on the excursion, which made our time truly special. Alex was amazing (the best guide we had in Costa Rica), he took the time to explain things to us as our English and Spanish weren't extremely good. We had a great time and recommend 100%.
The landscapes are incredible and unlike other excursions, we found this moment to be truly authentic. Just like the restaurant where we had lunch.

A great full day of experiences. - The whole trip was great. It was a long day but very interesting. The driver and guide -Alex, was very good, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful all day. We stopped off to see monkeys in there own environment, stopped off to look at lovely views and an amazing lunch, with lots of choices.The guide Carlos at the montverde bridges was also great, he was very knowledgeable and helpful too.

Unforgettable tour to Monteverde - The tour was very instructive and had a guide with enormous knowledge of Csta Rica. We had a very pleasant day, with the highlights being the visit to the suspension bridges and the delicious lunch.

Good day trip. - Good day trip! Provided lunch which was lovely, if a little early. The tour round the hanging bridges even came with a guide which was unexpected but added to the experience. Alex the driver gave lots of information about the country whilst driving between stops.

Good but could be better - It was good I enjoyed all the stops . However lunch is an hour diversion from Monteverde which felt very unnecessary especially given how much time you spend in the bus as it is . The food however yes was very good . The guide at the hanging bridges was exceptional but again there was waiting around there for other groups . It's good but I feel like it could be better organised to maximise time off the bus.
