Friendly and helpful - Rented bikes for a few days so we would have them to come/go during a visit. It was the best. The shop was super friendly. We’ll def rent here again.

SB Bikes To Go are wonderful - My first time to try an electric bike, and I was nervous. Can a 68 year old women learn how and go explore Santa Barbara by herself? Yes, and it was wonderful! I got patient help from SB Bikes To Go with deciding which bike (the easy, step through one for short people for me) and instruction for how it works, directions and a map. And a water bottle, and helmet. And a rubber band for my pants. I was nervous at first, but it was sooooo easy to learn, there really was nothing to it. And it opens a whole new world for exploration. They are so close to the bike paths along the coast. I'm signing up for a guided tour with them since I now have the confidence that I can keep up.

Awesome experience, I'll be back! - I rented an electric mountain bike to go backpack camping at Caliente Hot Springs in the Santa Barbara back country. The entire experience was amazing! It was both my first time mountain biking and using an electric bike. I went with my experienced friend, and cal coast equipped me with everything I needed to keep up. Their service was top notch, the bike has me wanting to buy my own, and the trip was memorable and well worth the $100 rental. The amount of fun and beauty I witnessed on the trip was well worth it. Thanks again!

Well-maintained bikes and friendly service! - We rented non-electric bikes (a comfort bike and a hybrid bike) from the rental shop on Carpinteria Street near east beach. The young guy who helped us was so kind and didn’t mind having to dig into the bikes in the storage unit for a larger frame bike to fit me better. We were lucky to get the last parking spot in the tiny parking lot at the shop, mid-day during the week. Bikes were in good mechanical condition and each had either a basket or pannier. We followed the streets to the Santa Barbara Beach Trail. We were told if we kept the bikes longer than expected we would just be charged extra for the time when we returned them, which worked great since we spent more time than planned.

Biking and Beveraging with Colin - I originally wanted to do the electric bike tour but as I was the only one who showed up it got canceled. However, the staff were so exceptionally friendly and accommodating they offered me the opportunity to take their "Bike and Beverage Tour!" When I asked if they were talking "adult beverages" the tour guide Colin replied" "is there any other kind!?" And thus began a fantastic day out...but before heading out Colin gave us a safety brief. (Of note, the tour is NOT designed to get hammered and ride bikes...only to taste and discover some hidden gems to come back to.0 Anyway, I was joined by a couple who were celebrating their 10th anniversary and the four of us immediately developed a fast friendship. The biking itself was easy and only moderately strenuous...at times; otherwise is was smooth sailing. Colin was an excellent host and really enjoyed showing us his home town...of which he is incredibly proud of...for good reason! We left the the shop and within a few mins were cruising along the shorefront. Colin would stop occasionally to impart some history, facts, of things of interest. We hit our first stop and did a wine tasting whcih was fantastic as they had live music. We had plenty of time to enjoy our wine before setting up State Street. Our next stop was down a small alleyway off State St. which was cozy and relaxing. We did some more tasting and starting to feel a little "nice" ordered a cheese board which we all relished. Before long the conversation and hearty laughs had to come to an end as we now had to ride back...a VERY pleasant ride at that! :-) Speaking for my new found friends, we had a great time and I would HIGHLY recommend taking this tour with Colin! P.S. If I had one minor issue its that the tour went too fast. Ideally making 3 stops would be ideal. Other than that I loved my day out with Colin.

Top Notch - Cal Coast Adventures is amazing. We rented 2 electric bikes and had so much fun. We rode all along the beach/ocean front, used the bike valet at the Santa Barbara Bowl to see a concert and toured State Street. The bikes were brand new, in excellent condition. The staff was so nice, explicitly explained the bikes and provided helmets, locks and chargers. They even came and picked us up to bring us to their location when we got lost walking there. I would highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures and definitely plan to us them again. Thank you so much for your excellent service and product offering.
