- City Hall - The current City Hall of Santa Barbara is the site of one of the most brutal murders of the city in 1921, however the victim a sweet soul from Switzerland comes back when guests come to have you hear her story and protect you from any negativity.
- Lobero Theatre - We will walk to the “most haunted” building in the State of California which is also the longest continually running theater in Alta California. You will hear amazing stories of the visiting ghosts which are experienced often by both locals and guests.
- Casa de la Guerra - You will meet at Casa de la Guerra and we be taken into the historic El Paseo (Street in Spain) for one hour of wine tasting.

Wine and Ghosts - great combo - We had an amazing time with Julie, who was an insightful tour guide. We had wine at Frequency winery near the post office. Great wine and ghost stories. Julie was very welcoming and you could tell that she loves Santa Barbara as much as she loves its ghosts. All in all a great experience. Definitely a must try.

Excellent Evening Out. Go for it! - My husband and I were looking for something fun, unique, and a bit out of the ordinary—and we’re so glad we found the *one and only* original Santa Barbara Ghost Tours! After reading their glowing reviews, we knew this was the company to go with, and they did not disappoint.
We opted for the **Paranormal Pairing Tour** and couldn’t be happier with our choice. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our guide, Allison, was absolutely brilliant—her storytelling was captivating, and the ghost stories she shared felt so real and engaging.
Walking through Santa Barbara after dark, we were immersed in its history, eerie tales, and hauntingly beautiful sights. The flow of the tour was perfect, with just the right balance of history, mystery, and atmosphere.
We enjoyed every minute of this unforgettable evening and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a fascinating way to explore Santa Barbara’s spookier side, this is it!

Not so spookie but super interest ghosts walk. - I really enjoyed learning more about the history of Santa Barbara and the walk around areas I hadn’t been in previously, even though I’ve lived here over 37 years.

A Perfect Paranormal Pairing! - WOW! What an amazing experience! I've been on over 50 or so ghost tours all around the world, and I have to say, Paranormal Pairing with Professor Julie has to be one of the best I've ever experienced. Firstly, Julie is incredibly personable, knowledgable, and has such a warm energy. During our wine tasting, she got to know us as well as shared her story with the paranormal, and then began to share the history of Santa Barbara and some of the places we'd get to visit. After learning a bit about mine and my partner's backgrounds and experiences (we're both actors), she tailored our tour to what she thought we'd really enjoy. I've never had a tour guide take such an interest in their guests, and it truly made for a top tier experience. She was able to answer all our questions about the different locations and stories so easily, and you could tell that she's not only well educated on the history of Santa Barbara, but that she really loves this town. She also seems to be a bit of a town celebrity - so many restaurant and shop owners knew her and waved to us as we walked, and it made me feel happy to know that we were getting the real local perspective on this town.
I should probably also mention the wine - absolutely delicious! We bought a bottle, and I can't wait to crack it open!
I also have to note, as someone who is very much a paranormal enthusiast, I appreciated her focus on safety and protection when exploring the stories in a town full of ghosts. I can confirm that no ghosts came home with us! :)
If you're into history, ghosts, or just want a really lovely evening exploring one of the most beautiful towns I've ever seen, this is the tour for you. Julie is an exceptional guide, and I am looking forward to taking another tour with her very soon!

The kindest, sweetest spiritual guide you can find in a beautiful, historic and spooky city! - Wow! I'm blown away.
I'd never been on a ghost tour before but my partner has been on many. Both of us were completely enamored with Julie and her Paranormal Pairings tour. The winery chosen offered incredible wines (I even walked away with a bottle), but more remarkable was Julie's vast knowledge of Santa Barbara's spectral history and, perhaps more importantly, her immense generosity of spirit.
The wealth of information she had seemed boundless as we walked the beautiful downtown area at night. She's very clearly been accepted and embraced by the local business owners - everywhere we went we were greeted and waved at by countless people who know and appreciate her work. That, paired with the fantastic "friendly" ghost stories and the great wine created an atmosphere that I'd challenge any spiritual guide to compete with.
I cannot recommend her tour enough - I have a feeling it's absolutely ruined me for other ghost tours in the future. I'll certainly be coming back with my friends and family.

A Toast to Santa Barbara's History and Hauntings - Our guide, Julie, was an expert in Santa Barbara history as well as SB hauntings. My husband and I spent about an hour tasting delicious wines while chatting with Julie about paranormal experiences. She created a goodie bag for each of us with the necessary protection in case we encountered a supernatural being. Once dusk settled, we walked to buildings in the older downtown area while listening to Julie's personal, supernatural encounters as well as those of other locals. The stories were fascinating and the history of SB equally so. I lived in the town for six years while attending graduate school, and these buildings were familiar to me but their stories were not. A truly delightful experience that we highly recommend.

Fantastic ghost tour and a lot of fun and information. - We were fortunate to be the only two on our 230 tour and Julie was wonderful at sharing wonderful historical mixed with paranormal anecdotes. She shared photos and videos to bring the stories to life. Julie is a big advocate of Santa Barbara, it's history as well as current day and future. One of the best ghost tours we've done, two big thumbs up. Before the tour we had a good conversation about our paranormal experiences and wine tasting too.

Fascinating and fun - My friend and I joined Julie for a wine paring and paranormal walk through Santa Barbara. We throughly enjoyed Julie and her story telling. Getting to know Julie during our wine tasting was an amazing experience. We enjoyed her stories and loved her personality. She has lived a fascinating life that has brought her many stories. During our walk she took us to many historic locations and learning the history of Santa Barbra along with the stories of the paranormal encounters was interesting.
I would definitely take this tour again if ever in the Santa Barbara area.

Fun Tour! - This tour is a fun and unique way to spend an evening in Santa Barbara. My tour started off at a winery, a quintessential Santa Barbara experience, and allowed the group to get to know each other and created great energy for the tour. Julie is an animated and passionate storyteller who made sure we were entertained. It was fun to walk around the older areas of downtown and learn a little about the history and myths of this charming city.

Not much Paranormal nor Ghost - Wine tasting with a little bit of history. “Paranormal and ghost” is a stretch. The stories were rambling, and not well told. We also had a substitute guide, who was very nice, but not the owner of this tour. Just not very good, and not worth the price nor the 2.5 hours.
