Not so afraid of the bees! - We went on the Bee Haven tour during our vacation to Aruba and we loved it!!! It was so educational and thrilling to learn about the bee population and actually get to see the honey making in action! The tour guide is so very informative and passionate about the bee habitat.

Great, wonderful, exciting. - Host was great, very detailed in explaining the importance of bee’s, very hands on and knowledgeable. We wore bee suits, but bees was not interested in trying to sting us or even follow us. I would highly recommend Aruba bee haven to anyone who may be interested in going in the tour. Definitely a 5star.

Best tour in Aruba!!! - Our first trip to Aruba was amazing! Spent three days doing excursions and activities with the whole family. End of the trip we discussed all of our activities, we like to see what the kids enjoyed the most. By far Bee Haven was everyone’s favorite. We did the donkey farm, glass blowing, ostrich sanctuary and a 4x4 tour of the whole island. Bee Have was so fun, educational, and hands on. My kids were so afraid of bees before we started the tour, but they loved being up close and holding the honeycomb trays in the bee suits! They soaked up all the interesting facts and learning about how important bees are. Once in a lifetime experience as I have never seen a bee farm tour in the United States! Thank you for this experience!!!

Must Do!! - This was an amazing way to spend the morning! They were so incredibly understanding and accommodating and they taught us so so much while making sure that we were comfortable and confident around the bees. We even got some honey to take home at the end! If you’re in Aruba, want to do something special and unique, and are interested in stepping a little outside your comfort zone… this is the thing for you!! I’d do it over and over if I didn’t have to go home!

Don't miss this very special experience! - This was such an interesting tour! Rubert is incredibly knowledgeable and took so much time with us and answered all of our questions. We got to handle the bees and see hives at 3 different stages. He and his dad Ruben run this business themselves so it was great to support this small local family business. Another highly valued member of the team is Cleopatra, a beautiful young cat, who came to greet us and and hung out the whole time. We definitely recommend this experience when you visit Aruba... it's worth going out of the tourist area to see and learn something of real Aruba. Also, the honey is amazing!!!

A sweet adventure - This was such an inique and fascinating experience for me. Not only was it very fun but also very educating about how the colonies of the honeybees strive in the eco-system. It's definitely worth visiting the Haven and to see the environment the honeybees live in.
The people there are very friendly and hardworking. They even make their own honeycandy!
I would say try it out and if you are not afraid to try something adventurous, I dare you to visit Aruba's Bee Haven!

Extraordinary Activity for Aruba!! - I lived on the island 3 years ago, and before I moved, I bought some of their honey for the first time. Since I was back on the island for a few weeks, I managed to contact Aruba Bee Haven and plan a tour. It's very inspiring and beeautiful to see the growth and the passion that Rubert taught and showed us while giving us a tour!

We love the BEES - If you love being immersed by passionate people & activity, then Aruba Beehaven is a must. The owner & son were very knowledgeable in their beekeeping craft & kept us feeling safe throughout the tour. We received a presentation that explained the world of bees & what exactly was going on in their property as well as a tour of the farm before getting hands on with the bees.
First impressions
The address Ca..7 takes you to a home nextdoor & its easy to miss the sign leading to the property (looks like an open dry lot right before)
Unlike your typical Aruban beach activity, utv's or other more commercial/well established businesses Aruba Beehaven is a small, but progressing business. It is first & foremost a functioning bee farm with the usual arid Aruban landscape, sun, dirt & bees. Vegetation is seasonal & the tour is held outside in bee suits, so dont be scared but it is an immersive experience on a small family farm.
They could benefit from more infrastructure or creature comforts, maybe shirts or small gifts to take but again its a functioning bee farm: we came to learn about bees, handle and try some occasional honey.
We loved the entire trip, we hope to come back soon & see how far they've grown.
