• 2 1/2-hour double kayak rental, personal flotation device and paddle
• A short lesson on paddling technique and helpful tips on where to paddle for the day’s conditions

• Ocean conditions vary based on swell, tides and wind forecasts. There are days where paddling into the ocean is NOT advised. Your helpful Kayak Connection employee will alert you of the day’s conditions upon your arrival.
• If paddling into the Monterey Bay is not an option on the day you booked, the Harbor has calm and protected waters that can make for a great paddle. Staying inside the Harbor provides views of Twin Lakes Beach, the Walton Lighthouse, harbor seals, sea lions and the occasional sea otter.
• Children aged three (3) and older are welcome to paddle in a double kayak with a responsible adult; we do not allow children under five (5) to paddle out of the Harbor and into the Monterey Bay. If participant is under the age of 18, a legal guardian MUST sign a Kayak Connection liability waiver.
• Bring layered quick-drying clothing, snacks, water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel, shoes to walk to the dock in, a hat, and a mask.
• Small backpacks and bags can be taken on your kayak, but may get wet. Large coolers are not allowed.

You have until 48 hours prior to your rental date to cancel or alter your booking.
If you do not show, and do not contact us within 48 hours of your booking, you will not be refunded.
