The itinerary consists of roughly 15% dirt paths, with the remaining being asphalt due to the region’s strict environmental preservation measures. The tour will guide you through the towns of Arona, La Escalona and Vilaflor. The latter provides an opportunity for leisurely strolls or a quick refresh before continuing the climb.
Upon reaching the National Park, you’ll arrive at Boca del Tauce. Here, there’s sufficient time to relax, take pictures, breathe in the fresh air, and admire the moon-like landscape and the commanding sight of Teide, Spain’s tallest peak at 3,760 meters.
