Awesome experience in the Rainforest! - The waterfall was really cool but by far the best part was the Rainforest! We saw two kinds of toucans, poisonous frogs, venomous snakes, sloths and so much more. Michael was a great guide and it was a terrific experience. Highly recommend.

Sloths are great! - The sloth sanctuary was excellent, even in the poring rain!! The close up baby sloth was the best!! Plus poisonous viper, frog, birds, plants. The coffee/cocoa tour was very interesting and informative. The waterfall seems overrated in my opinion.
Our driver Livingston was super, keeping us on track the whole time. He is an excellent driver, and very helpful.

Book it!!! - Wow! We had the best time with Michael!
The variety of activities, beautiful spots, and seeing all the wildlife was truly awesome. My favorite was the Rio Celeste waterfall and the rainforest hike to get there. Moderate short amount of hiking but in the rainforest and getting to see all the wildlife there was incredible. Afterwards, at the spring- we saw frogs, leaf cutter ants, snakes, toucans, sloths! We would not have had the same experience without our guides pointing things out and taking pictures for us! The lunch provided was also really good, I had the tilapia.
A must do experience here!

Would recommend!! - My husband and I went on a tour with Livingston (guide) and Orlando (driver) and it was great! Livingston is very personable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the sloth tour a lot where we saw sloths, frogs, snakes, and toucans. It did rain so bring a poncho! We also really enjoyed the chocolate/coffee tour and thought it was a unique experience!

Best Day Trip! - Michael was our guide and he was absolutely amazing! We started swimming at a waterfall, went to Tenorio Volcano National Park to hike to the Rio Celeste Waterfall. Michael pointed out and educated us on the local wildlife. We LOVED this day trip!

Pure Nature Private Tours - A Perfect Proposal Experience - I can't recommend Pure Nature Private Tours enough! Michael, our tour guide, delivered an unforgettable experience for one of the most important days of our lives. I had scheduled a private tour with Michael to propose to my now-fiancée, and he went above and beyond to make it absolutely perfect.
Michael ensured every detail was flawless—from keeping us on schedule to guiding us through a stunning Costa Rican adventure. We started our day at Llanos del Cortés waterfall, arriving bright and early as the first visitors. The secluded, serene atmosphere made it feel as though the entire place was ours—ideal for a private and intimate proposal. Michael even captured the moment for us on our phones, giving us memories we can treasure forever.
Beyond the proposal, the rest of the tour was just as incredible. We enjoyed a delicious Costa Rican meal and coffee, then explored the diverse and vibrant wildlife of the area. Michael’s expertise and passion for the local ecosystem shone through as he pointed out six sloths (including a baby!), snakes, frogs, bats, toucans, and other beautiful birds. BOOK THIS TOUR!!! - Where to begin. My bf (now fiance) planned this whole private tour to propose to me, and he couldn’t have done better. We had the pleasure of our tour guide being Michael and he was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, funny, and attentive during the private tour making sure to give us the best experience. He had a great eye spotting exotic animals (baby sloths, toucans, snakes etc) throughout the whole day. He timed the Celeste waterfall perfectly so we were the only ones enjoying the views, and got to go for a private swim at Llenas de Cortes, and lastly brought us to a delicious restaurant Metamorphosis to end the day. He got some great videos and pictures of our experience and gave us fun recommendations for other activities on our free days. It was an unforgettable day. Highly suggest you do this tour and look for Michael!!

I would recommend this tour - our Guide Gino was excellent ! - Sometimes when the weather is too wet the itinerary has to be changed for safety reasons, but that was not a problem. Gino knew the best places to find toucans, sloths and monkeys. I have attached a few pictures that I took. We then went on to the Sloth Farm and learned how to make coffee and hot chocolate, followed by a great lunch. Gino then took a slight detour to see Flamingo Beach before we returned to Tamarindo. A great tour, thanks Gino !

Best Birthday Trip Ever! - Pablo and Orlando were amazing! Having a driver AND a bilingual guide was the best experience. We changed our trip last minute from LA Fortuna to this and we were so glad we did because the reason we came to CR was to see sloths in the wild! Such a beautiful experience.
