Wilmar is great! - We had an amazing trip from Samara to La Leona Waterfall! Wilmar was a fantastic driver and guide, picking us up right from Samara and sharing tons of local knowledge along the way. He was easy to communicate with and he arrived at the pickup location early. He also advised that we go as early as possible, which was spot on - we were the first at the waterfall and avoided the crowds! The experience was totally worth it, and Wilmar’s guidance and friendliness made it even better. Highly recommend!

TIME OF OUR LIVES - Wilmar our tour guide had wonderful communication from the moment I booked our trip. He messaged me immediately after booking to ensure that we knew exactly where we were going and what we were doing. He made sure we also knew what we should bring. He was punctual to meet us in the morning( the only down side was where we picked to stay in Samara so we had to drive 2 hours there and back- which was no one’s fault but our own) We left and drove to the location of where we received a life jacket and were able to freshen up and put our things in a dry bag. We were handed over to another set of tour guides as well. From there, we left and drove Down to the entrance of the trail that would lead us to the waterfall by foot. Once we got to the waterfall it was a short but steep hike to the place where you crossed the water. The water is cold at this time of year that we visited but was very refreshing and felt good after the short walk to get down there. Bear in mind the walk that we had to take was down a step set of steps and up and down over some rocks to the waters edge. We eventually made it to the waterfall and got to try and follow a rope up to a point ( like a competition , trying to reach further than the person that tried it before you) Was very challenging but so fun The current was very strong and the water was high- as the guides were saying. And I’m only 120 lbs so at times I felt like I was about to be swept away. I do feel like you need to be decently athletic and like to hike. I lift weights and have a very active job and I walk a lot so I enjoyed it. But the path had mud, rocks, sticks and close spaces and the water bottom had large rocks and the current was a little difficult at times to get through. But I will say. The guides made me feel very safe and we had so much fun between my southern accent English banter back with his Spanish speaking. ( as I am learning Spanish) After that we went to another location close by and got into the volcanic mud, hot springs and sauna The lunch afterwards was AMAZING. Long story short. Would 100% book this again. We had so much fun and we now have great memories to take back with us

La Leona Waterfall Extreme Hike, Mud Bath & Hot Springs - My 16yo son and I had an incredible day with Jorge driving and guiding us along the way! Jorge was awesome and even made some extra stops to show us some awesome sights! He was so knowledgeable and friendly! We even met Wilmer at one point in the day and he was just as nice. The trip was so well planned and executed by them. Our guide on the hike was also awesome and made the hike more challenging and fun since we have experience hiking and are athletic. We can’t wait to come back to Costa Rica and book more excursions with them soon! So many amazing memories!

Great service, friendly and helpful - Wilmar was very helpful in arranging all our transportation needs and some excursions as well. All the drivers were punctual, courteous and helpful. Wilmar even joined us on the La Leona waterfall trip and took many great pictures of our large group. His responses on WhatsApp were quick and clear. Would highly recommend and definitely would book with him again.

Our favorite excursion - My husband and I booked this excursion last minute and we are glad we did! Our driver/guide was super knowledgeable on Costa Rican history and made for a fun drive to the activities. He helped navigate us from one activity to the next and La Leona waterfall is a Costa Rican must-do! It is DEFINITELY a challenging hike (we wondered if our parents would have made it) only because of the rocky terrain (ability to balance is crucial) but there were plenty of people (and kids) making it work as long as you are willing to take your time. We definitely recommend!
