Fun for all - Our kids were beginner snorkelers and ended up not feeling up for the experience. Frank was un-phased and happily took us to experience a remote beach with beautiful scenery, cruised around looking for whales and made sure we all had a fun experience.

Like this guy needs another 5 star review... - There's a reason why Frank has only 5 star reviews... he's fantastic! Yes, there are cheaper snorkeling tours from Playa Flamingo, but none better. On those other tours, you don't get Frank. He is a genuinely happy person who loves his "job" and it shows. Of course, he knows the islands and beaches and the best snorkeling places. If you have a special request or want to explore another area, Frank is very accommodating. Pura Vida personified. Do yourself a favor and give Frank and the Beluga a half-day of your vacation time. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect snorkeling trip - Frank arranged a perfect snorkeling experience. We went on a private tour and really enjoyed the trip. We stopped at two beautiful spots and saw lots of fish. Frank was the perfect guide with a lot of knowledge. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, relaxing, memorable! - We went snorkeling with Frank and Kenya. We hit two spots. The second in particular was like being in a tropical aquarium. We saw three octopuses! There was fruit, guacamole, beer, and drinks, and jumping off the boat was a blast for our kids. A wonderful way to spend a morning! Frank and Kenya were both native to the area, and were lovely to spend the day with. Highly recommend!

Book direct through the locals if you can - We booked this private boat tour through Trip Advisor in advance assuming that by going through a reputable company this booking would leave less to chance than by booking direct through a local company's website. This was not the case. We had an 8 am tour booked with Frank and arrived at the meeting point at 7:30 am to make sure we were at the right location ect. When we arrived Frank told us we didn't have an 8 am booking and both his boats were fully booked with other customers. He offered us alternative dates or times, none of which worked for us. Obviously there was a miscommunication between the Trip Advisor Platform and Frank. Frank said if his two bookings didn't show he would take us, but everyone arrived by 8. In the meantime, however, Frank was communicating to all the boats in the area and he found someone who had a free spot and was willing to take us out. Frank left with his tours and we were left with Jonathan who very graciously took us out in his boat. He needed some time to get food and coolers brought over as well as get a dead battery up and running. We were on the water by 9:30am and all went well from there. Jonathan took us to honeymoon beach for some snorkeling, which was ok , but as the water was a bit rough it turned murky within the hour. We did see a a number of colorful fish and a pretty good variety, but decided a boat tour around may be just as enjoyable. He heard some whales and dolphins were in the area so we went searching - found the humpback whale which was amazing to see. Never found the dolphins but the tour around the islands was beautiful just the same. Looking at private tours, this one was more expensive than the local ones we found online, but they were booked on days we could go. We found this same tour through the Viator website but the price was a couple of hundred dollars more for the same thing! My advise at the end of this - just go through the locals - save the up-charge from Trip Advisor and Viator. While we didn't get Franks tour in the end I would send all my business his way - he communicated well with us on the beach and did everything he could to make this day possible for us. He could have told us just to get a refund but instead he called in a favor and made sure the booking went through. Even though we didn't tour with you Frank - thanks for the experience none the less! Jonathan was great and we appreciated his flexibility!

Boat ride - Unfortunately, water was cloudy and could not see anything. In five feet of water could not see bottom. Older masks were dirty and scratched lenses added to inability to see anything . Have been snorkeling all over the world and this did not qualify as a snorkeling tour. More of an expensive boat ride. Staff was friendly.
