- Curubande - Visit a hidden spot of the river “Rio Blanco” (blue water river), starting with a slow tubing floating down the river on its beautiful turquoise water, then get ready to see a nice 2 waterfalls in a lava shaped canyon (photo spot), after you will be able to try some Cliff jumping out of the edge of a 45ft canyon to a blue water bowl…

- La Leona Waterfall - In this spot you will hike for 25 minutes through hard trials caves and cliffs, in order to get to la leona waterfall, inside of a cave that you will have to swim in with a rope against the river current.
- Curubande - We will do a stop in a local restaurant for lunch.
- Cataratas Llanos de Cortes - Enter to the llanos del cortes waterfalls using the locals entrance with a local guide, where after a 20 minutes hike through the tropical dry forest next to the river, you will reach a hidden big water bowl, where you will be able to swim and cliffjump, then you will hike to the top of the Waterfall´s view point to take pictures, after you will go to the base of the Waterfalls where you can swim and take pictures.

Begin with a serene tubing experience on a captivating blue river, followed by waterfall visits, cliff diving, canyon exploration, hidden coves, and even more stimulating waterfalls; truly experience it the local way. This exciting journey gets you visiting a pristine blue river ideal for cliff diving and swimming through a canyon leading to a secluded waterfall. Our next stop involves a stimulating 30-minute downhill hike on adventurous trails through coves and cliffs, including ladder climbing. The journey carries on with swimming against the current, aided by ropes, leading you to a magical waterfall, offering a true Indiana Jones experience. Pause for a break to enjoy a traditional local ‘Casado’ meal at a local eatery. Lastly, step into the shoes of a local and hike their trail for 20 minutes leading to a towering 90ft waterfall. You’ll climb to the top, then swim down to the base of the waterfall.

So worth it! - My husband & I had an amazing time! I'm horrible with names, & I'm writing this review 3 days later, but I think our tour guys were Sebastian and Jonathan. They were honestly great! My husband & I didn't know what to expect but this whole tour was beyond what we could have imagined. It's wet season right now, so everything is so green & beautiful. The waters falls were breath taking & the river was so relaxing. Also it helped having such knowledgeable fun tour guides!

Experience of a Lifetime - I cannot put into words how amazing this experience was! (But I’ll try.) Sebastian picked us up promptly, and had snacks and drinks on hand. We have two girls, aged 7 & 9, and they took to him instantly. The waterfalls were amazing and worth the little hikes to get there. It was quick and easy to get into and out of each area, as the company is well established with the locals. It was very impressive how many experiences were packed into only one day! We learned a lot, and saw some of the most beautiful sights of our lives. I’ve only ever left one recommendation despite much travel, but this trip was worth the time and effort. So appreciative. Recommend, recommend, recommend!!

Amazing! - This excursion was our favorite!! Paul, our tour guide was so kind and wonderful! La Leona waterfall was something we will never forget!! Absolutely recommend!

Experience of a Lifetime! - The experience was amazing and unforgettable! Our guide Alberto Salas was top notch! He educated us on not only our excursion but also educated us on the Costa Rican culture collectively. He taught us the lingo and answered any and all questions as well as made sure every part of our day was comfortable. La Leona was the most beautiful and rewarding experience. Not being the most agile person it was a challenge but Alberto gives you all the reassurance and assists you in having an experience of a lifetime! My husband and I now have a Costa Rican friend! Highly recommend!

Perfect day in Costa Rica - What an amazing experience. Alberto was the best guide we used in all our travels. The two water falls were unbelievable. La Leona waterfall is such a crazy hike, but it is so worth it. Alberto guided us through and did not rush us. Tubing down the river was also fun and relaxing. We highly recommend the tour company and especially Alberto.

Waterfall Adventure - We were so excited to see Paul at pick up! He had been our driver the day before, and he’s awesome! Our kids (15, 19, 21) were ready for a day of adventure! After a bit of a drive from our resort, we started with a short tube ride and some waterfall jumping/swimming. This was nice, but nothing to write home about. The second stop was where the adventure began. We had no idea what we were in for. Paul and Crazy Chicken (aka pollo loco aka Allan) were our guides. Our first stop was a natural waterslide that the kids enjoyed. We continued on to an area where we had to use ropes to scale down rocks into the river. We walked along a rope line where a gorgeous waterfall was revealed. We were able to walk behind it and ride the current out. Next, we took on a crazy climb up with ropes through a rock formation. The kids were in awe. At that point, our 15 year old son said that out of all the hikes he’s been on (in the UP, Colorado, and even the Pitons of Saint Lucia), this was by far the coolest ever! My husband and I were just happy we were able to climb up 🤣. We thought that was it, but the best was yet to come. After some more hiking and climbing, we came to a long rope in deep water. We pulled ourselves along, climbed up another rope, and were treated to a gorgeous pool and waterfall. Stunning! Time for an authentic lunch at a cute cafe. Paul was sweet and personally bought us drinks that he wanted us to try! The brand is Bamboo, and I’m guessing I won’t be lucky enough to find them in the States. On to the last waterfall. This one required a hike down some serious stairs, but it was by far the most impressive waterfall of the day. We swam, relaxed, and didn’t feel rushed once all day. This private tour was worth it to be on our own schedule with our own guide. Request Paul. He’s a fantastic guy! He even made a YouTube video of our day (with permission) and posted it at Sweet Costa Rica. Super awesome!

Fun and experiences of a lifetime - Sweet provided our large group (13) an unforgettable experience. Sebastian was a wealth of local knowledge which made things much more interesting. From the lazy water tubing to the cliff jumping to the waterfalls, Sebastian brought us through it all with fun and excitement. He was also very accommodating to the various requests of our large group. Sweet is highly recommended to get a true local experience.

Highlight of Costa Rica vacation - This was by far the highlight of the trip. I got to meet a lot of locals, experience & see a lot of Costa Rica, and had a lot of fun doing it. José is the man and gave us a lot of insight into the area and Costa Rican life. Very comfortable transportation for a couple.
