At Juanita’s Typical Ranch, a rare restaurant in the region, customers can reminisce about bygone times in Costa Rica, courtesy of Doña Juanita’s rustic wood stove and traditional dish preparations. Following this, we embark on a breathtaking natural excursion to the Root of the Ficus. Afterwards, we visit Santa Elena Monteverde Handicrafts Cooperative (CASEM), the primary venue for local handicraft sales in the Monteverde region. Our adventure concludes at the Monteverde Cheese Factory, a vital local business with a rich history tied closely to the conservation efforts in Monteverde.
