Coffee tour - Can not say how much we enjoyed this tour. From the towns we visited to the two plantations we stayed at. The whole tour was an amazing experience and Julio our excellent guide and driver arranged us to do a horseback tour of Jerico and the hills. I commend Julio on his English skills, his knowledge of the history or the area and his passion for Colombia. I had many people question why would I go to Colombia and I have had just an amazing time. I will be back very soon.

Nope - the 3 stars are generous!! - David was a well meaning young man, however immature. The trip itself is WAY overpriced for what you get. There is no stay at coffee farms and a lot of wasted time. Day one we were picked up and drove to the Occidente bridge, which was nice. Then brought to our hotel in downtown Santa Fe (a 3 star at best hotel), not a coffee farm stay as promised in the write up , at about 1:30 pm. We amused ourselves the rest of the day, then met with David again in the evening for a short walk around town. The museum that is listed in the tour is closed on Wednesdays (something that should be known when booking the tour). Day two was driving to Jardin and stopping at a coffee tour. The coffee tour was one of the best parts of the whole trip. Then dropped off at our hotel in Jardin by 2:30 and left to ourselves for the remainder of the day. I really have no idea what I paid $1200 for on this trip as the hotels together were about $250, gas $80 for all three days and the time of the driver. He drove like he was auditioning for Nascar and when he was told this he dismissed us and said he drove good. When we had concerns he simply justified why it was his way and made no corrections. His car had troubles (tire, oil, coolant) and we often did not feel safe. Lastly, the description of this trip was not what we got and we had to work hard to convince our guide that we wanted to go to Jerico. He tried hard to justify why it was a waste of time and had long winding roads and would just be a lot of time in the car. We enjoyed Jerico and wish more attention was paid overall to customer satisfaction. For the money we spent it should have included more tours options or food. Overall, would not recommend without serious changes and attention to customer care.
