Get to know a different Santa Fe - What a fantastic and unexpected walking tour! Not your usual tourist tour. Gustavo is a very knowledgeable guide with lots of great stories, history of the Virgin of Guadalupe and Santa Fe and you walk through some great neighborhoods. This tour made me love Santa Fe -- I used to think it was just a place for wealthy people and loud tourists but this tour revealed the diversity and richness of the people of Santa Fe, and what a special place it is, so full of history and charm. Lots of walking -- bring a hat and water. An unusual and unique walking tour!

See the real Santa Fe - This was the best tour I have taken in Santa Fe. We saw and experienced the real Santa Fe, its culture and history. Gustavo was so so knowledgeable of the culture of old Santa Fe and he blended modern and ancient times in a way that was easy to follow the evolution of this beautiful city and her strong ties to Lupita. We learned the ancient Native history, so fascinating. Ending with an experience of the fabulous muralist of Santa Fe, Carlos Cervantes and his life and work. This is history that has not been written about and you cannot find it in one place in books. Highly enjoyable for history minded folk and recommended.

Not a religious tour but it is very interesting! - We took the tour in May of last year while my mother-in-law was visiting from Chihuahua, Mexico. She is a believer in the virgin while I don't really like religion. Gustavo made us travel back in time telling us stories that talked about work, injustice, faith and struggle. It was so interesting that he spoke in English and Spanish, believers and skeptics, locals and visitors alike enjoyed it.

This walking tour is a delight! - Gustavo is an excellent guide and his passion for passing on the history and stories surrounding Our Lady of Guadalupe shines through. My sister and I greatly enjoyed walking with him through the Guadalupe neighborhood and experiencing the beautiful depictions of Lupita up close. In addition, we gained an insightful appreciation for the many ways She is woven into the culture of Santa Fe and beyond. We highly recommend this tour.

Local tour with tons of insider information! - Gustavo was amazing! A local guide with historical knowledge you wouldn't be able to find in the history books. Each interpretation of Guadalupe was specific and full of local and global history, allowing me to reflect on the interplay of religion, indigeneity, and colonialism. One-of-a-kind tour of Santa Fe!

Really interesting tour and guide! - Gustavo gives a really great tour. I've walked the rail yard area a bunch but never like this. Gustavo is very knowledgeable about the artists and stories behind all of the Virgin of Guadalupe works in town (and far beyond). He's very friendly and doing some really interesting work here. The Virgin of Guadalupe is a fascinating lens to view the histories of Santa Fe with--the Indigenous, Spanish, American--and how all of these histories brings us to today's Santa Fe. Great tour!
