Vale la pena (Well worth it) - The tour started with Oscar being promptly on time and ready to go. From Santa Cruz / La Crucecita, it was about an hour and a half drive up through the mountains. All the while, Oscar is sharing information about the villages, the people, the history, the culture, just about everything. It feels like you are on set of the History Channel as he has so much knowledge and a passion to share. We arrived at the falls for our day. Leave your towel in the car, you won't need it until the day is over. While walking (and there is plenty of walking so please know that this is not for someone with hip, knee or walking issues), Oscar again is regaling us with information about the birds, the wild life, the vegetation. Amazing. We stopped at three swimming holes as we progressed towards the falls. As with Oscar's other tours and excursions, there is NO RUSH. None whatsoever. Take your time, enjoy, soak it all in. We make our way to the falls. It truly unique, fresh water running from the mountain to the ocean. There is a jumping platform and plenty of swimming to be enjoyed. A shorter path back to the car to dry off and head out for lunch. As part of the trip, lunch is included. We traverse some mountain roads in his air conditioned van about 25 minutes to a village that appears to have been purpose built. We are served mole, chicken, pork, rice, beans, tortillas, and aqua fresca de jamaica (Hibiscus Tea). The meal was truly authentic and truly delicious. Again no rush. It should be noted that Oscar leaves earlier than other tour operators. He does this to give his tour a relatively quiet experience. The walking path is quiet without too many others as are the swimming holes and the falls themselves. We had the first meal of the day at the lunch pavilion all to ourselves.

Amazing waterfall tour with Lamberto! - From the booking with Jenny all the way through to the end of the tour with Lamberto, everything was great! On our way to the waterfall, Lamberto filled us in on so much of Huatulco's history. Once we got to the waterfalls, the tour was perfect with Lamberto guiding us when to be careful in certain spots. He joined in on the fun with us which was perfect for my husband when I was too intimidated. Lamberto took us to the BEST spot for lunch with the most authentic & wonderful food. He was a joy to have as our guide. I would 100% recommend Lamby Tours!

Wonderful trip to Copalitilla Falls - We really enjoyed this tour. Gonzalo was an excellent guide and his love and pride for Huatulco was evident. When we arrived at the falls, it looked challenging for my husband and I, but Gonzalo got us into the water and we were able to fully experience the excursion. We were traveling on a cruise ship; they made sure we were back to the ship well before we needed to return.

Giovanni was a fabulous... - Giovanni was a fabulous guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He constantly scanned for all of us and told us many interesting facts. The falls are amazingly beautiful. Pristine. The water is fresh and cool and crystal clear. It was very refreshing on a hot day. The cave is a cool feature. Highly recommend this tour. The food was plentiful and tasty. The trip up the mountain may cause nausea if you have motion sensitivity issues with the winding of the road, but it is a beautiful drive. Many speed bumps.

Absolutely a Great Day!!! - Our tour guide Giovani was fantastic!! The trip was amazing but even better because of the excellent service he provided. Giovani was always concerned about our safety around the rocks and around the water falls. He was extremely knowledgeable about the community, the environment and answered all our questions. He was funny and very informative. The falls were beautiful so worth the drive up. It’s a trip we wont forget.

Fun Day! - A really wonderful tour with Gustavo. He was very kind and informative. Enjoyed the stop at the store. The falls were magical and we enjoyed our time swimming there. Food afterwards was really delicious. Bring pesos for the restaurant and prepare yourself for a steep and windy road.

Magical cascadas - We had a great day with Gustavo as our lovely guide. He showed us all the really cool parts of the falls including little caves etc. and it was honestly such a fun day. Lunch was also great and you can keep asking for more food until you're full. The pork and chicken mole were very tasty. The day we went it was just us and one other couple so felt almost like a private tour. Really recommend it

Waterfalls in Hautulco - All was excellent after we got picked up. A little mis communication on pickup spot. Once we got going it was awesome as the last time we did it 2 years a go. The guide was great in English and participated as well helped everyone. Thx Gonzalo.

Beautiful, even thrilling - The waterfalls cascade down to a series of pools and are spectacular. Getting up to the top, and back down, involves clambering up through the side of the falls, clinging to a guide rope, on very uneven rock . . . challenging but not impossible for us, in our late 70's, early 80's . . . But wear water shoes! And waterproof your camera if you're bringing one! And if you get queasy, take gravol for the drive. Our driver/guide, Gustavo, was great - attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. It's a four-star only because we found the lunch mediocre.
