Money well spent - Wonderful crew and comfortable boat made for a great day on the water. Get the snorkel gear, take a swim, enjoy a nice meal on the beach, and takes LOTS of photos.

Great Day Out! - This trip was exactly as advertised. Picked up on time from our hotel and taken to the marina for snorkelling equipment rental (optional — we brought our own). Then fees were collected (5.50 Pesos per person for the harbor tax and 60 Pesos pp for National Park entry. We cruised by some amazing (and empty) beaches and passed quite close to parts of the shoreline to see attractions like a natural blowhole. After about an hour, we made our first stop to go in the water. We were surprised that such a large boat could make it to within a couple of feet of the beach. We chose to swim by ourselves, but most chose to swim in a group. We had two hours for this stop. An umbrella with two upright plastic chairs was 250 Pesos (recommended since there is no other shade). Drink and souvenir vendors passed by, but they were polite if you said “no gracias”. Our second stop was for lunch. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant was under a big palapa to shield from the sun. On the trip back, we stayed in deeper water to see if we could spot some wildlife and we saw a couple of turtles, some schools of fish and one flying fish. All in all, a fun way to spend the day!

Affordable Introduction to the Beauty of the Bays of Huatulco - This is a great experience for the whole family, young and old. The guide, ours was Raciel “Razo”, provides information on the landscape and historic importance 7 of the 9 bays of Huatulco. He expertly transitions from Spanish to English in providing the information. The trip includes two different beach stops. If you are new to snorkeling, the team provides excellent instruction on the activity and ensures safety requiring the use of life-jackets. Experienced divers/snorkelers may want to skip this activity and enjoy the beach under the shade an umbrella with a drink of choice in hand. This first stop is approximately 2 hours. You’ll need pesos (bring more than you think you’ll need). The second stop is at another beach with restaurants for lunch. For here you can pay in pesos or use your credit card. We had pulpo a la diabla (spicy octopus) and piña de mariscos en horno de leña (a creamy seafood stew in a half of a scooped out pineapple topped with local cheese and cooked over a wood fire). Both were outstandingly delicious and ample portions. We could have just ordered one entree and split between the two of us. Additional reminder note- bring more pesos than you’ll think you’ll need. There are a lot of little costs along the way, some obligatory and others optional and please tip the crew and locals that provide services. They really appreciate and depend on these extras.

Beautiful beaches but bring Pesos - Highly recommend this tour. We especially enjoyed seeing different beaches and snorkeling in two different spots. We were told some history and cultural facts. The information on the national park was interesting. I understand the need for the restaurants and locals on the beach to make money, but in order to have shade or sit in a chair, there is always a cost. Some of the locals are very aggressive. We took 1,000 pesos and it was not enough. I booked our tour on Trip Advisor and it was less expensive than booking it locally at our destination.

Great tour with services that can improve - The tour is good, it is entertaining and the crew is very friendly and helpful, however during the tour they offer some additional services (e.g. photographs, restaurant to eat, umbrellas and beds) in which they are a little excessive in the prices and the exact cost is not mentioned. I recommend carrying a lot of cash because there is no possibility to pay by card or transfer.

Excellent guides, terrible restaurant - I really enjoyed the tour, and the very friendly guides. It could have been perfect but the restaurant that is obligatory to reach lowered the stars of the tour. The restaurant is excessive in costs and the food was bad with desire. The very rude waiters made things look like we were asking for gifts. The restaurant is named "El costeño" (The owner) will hopefully let you choose where to eat and avoid ruining the tour for these details.

Nice experience - Very well explained what related to everything in the bays and especially very professional when it came to snorkeling what I did not like were the prices of where they take you to eat and the rent of umbrellas become quite high

Boat Ride - The best part was the Boat ride and seeing all the bays and beaches. Water and drinks provided were great. Time alloted for snorkelling and lunch (2 hours for each) was way too long and it got boring. Time should be 1.5 hours max. Person announcing spoke Spanish 80% of the time, and when they spoke English were somewhat difficult to understand. Pick up from hotel in morning was on time and went smoothly. When we got to marina organization was poor and confusing. We had to wait for 30-40 minutes after arriving back at marina for transport to arrive.
