Buggy sightseeing at its best - The best Holiday excursion to date!!! Very fun, but the 1000CC also not for people who just want to cruise, the pace was high, with small stops 10min, for sightseeing. 85km/h+ over different terrain The best way to discover the island. we had a lot of fun, the guys were very helpful and friendly, they spoke English very well. There is a foto team, where you can purchase a bunch of fotos afterwards if you want to. they take pictures of everybody and if you want to you can purchase them. The "special shoes" for sharksightseeing, are crocs so if you have them use your own. 10/10 would consider to book the 8h tour.

Absolutely fantastic, fun filled, educational, adrenaline filled adventure! - Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended adrenaline filled fun. My husband and I did the 4 hour 1000cc SSV Buggy Island Adventure and could not recommend it more. The staff are friendly, helpful, fun, professional, knowledgeable & speak multiple different languages. This is not your standard plod behind the leader trail this is fun, fast & exhilarating! We took it in turns to both drive the 2 seater bugger in a group of about 6 buggies in total plus a guide at the front and one at the back. Take some change with you to purchase a bandanna you WILL need it! Not only did we have the run of driving the buggy through town, the dunes, rocky terrain etc we also stopped at various different points to learn the heritage of the beautiful island of Sal. We went to the salt mines, we paddled with Lemon Sharks as they swam around our legs. We visited local shops & stalls where you could purchase authentic items. Sal is beautiful and this really is a fantastic fun filled way of exploring it and learning as you go. We had Do & Jota as our guides who were both brilliant. They explained things clearly and checked in every stop to make sure we were happy. If you’re thinking about booking this, do it!

Great adrenaline rush!! - My husband and I booked the 4 hour trip in a 1000cc via Tui at home as it looked fantastic. We had high expectations and these were most definitely met. We were picked up at our hotel and after a short drive arrived. After filling in paperwork we were given overalls, a helmet and goggles. We also purchased a bandanna for 3 euros as we didn’t have one. We were helped, making sure everything was fitted correctly. After a brief overview of the route we were then taken to the buggies and also given a briefing on how to drive them. The staff were professional as well as being fun. We had multiple stops where we given information and shown the highlights of the island. These included the salt flats and the lemon sharks. Highly recommended.

Awesome experience with the 1000cc! - What an unbelievable experience! The tour doesn’t take you on the normal roads but instead through the nature of the Island itself. Bumpy, dusty, quiet but so adventerous! Lets start with the side-by-sides (buggy); we took the 1000cc which were awesome and very well maintained. Driving is very easy. Our guides knew what we wanted so we didn’t go slow :-) They are all about safety though; overalls, helmets, goggles and offcourse 4-point seatbellts. You can put your stuff in the backpack in the buggy to keep it a bit more dustfree. And you will appreciate that after the trip :-) The guides were super friendly and provided a fun atmosphere with jokes but were also very helpfull and gave a lot of information on what we see during our stops. There was also a ‘papparazi’ driving with the group who took some great photo’s and showed them in slideshows on laptops at the end. It was well worth the €30. You get the photo’s directly through airdrop (if you have an iPhone) and/or through email. We had an awesome trip and it reminded me somehow on the several Rally’s I drove in Libya and Morocco but at a slower speed :-) Absolutely recommended if you are on holiday in Sal!

Mainly action, informal and recreation - We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel on time. It was our best Safari ever! Enjoy off-road driving! It is the most beautiful and rough way to explore the island! Our guide was easy to understand and divided the attention among the day guests well!

Solo traveller 4hr Buggy tour - My first solo trip to Cape Verde for my birthday and the 4hr buggy tour was definitely the highlight of my trip the staff were incredible and they really looked after me the buggy tour is a must and I can not wait to go back and do it again.
