Wonderful nature walking experience - Very wonderful activity experience, nature hikes in the forest to get intimate with nature, detailed guided tours, visit to the Coffee Eco Farm and taste delicious coffee, see the waterfall of the name card though no bathing suit to get into the water, then there are wonderful cocoa making process and tasting, ecological conservation explanation, in short a great experience, good value for money.

Much more than the description - For naturalists and bird watchers especially: I have been recommending this tour to everyone I met in Colombia. It's a lot more than the description shows. Gustavo and Tony are naturalists themselves and really care about the environment. I initially thought the biological talk and chocolate activity will be touristy stuff but they turned out to be great. We had lunch in a wonderful ecolodge that had humming bird feeders and humming birds were flying around which was amazing. The only thing to note is that the hike is not easy. There was an elderly gentleman with us and he struggled. You also really can't do this tour without water shoes, you wade in streams multiple times. The rocks at the waterfall were super slippery, I almost fell and another lady did fall. You can still see the waterfall well without approaching the slippery rocks tho.

Great introduction into the area, ecosystems and an engaged plea for protecting them. - Diverse Tour. Nice. Good guide. Except I deplore being forced to fill in endless evaluation forms. 1

Beautiful Experience - It was a pleasant hike. The guide was very informative. We got to swim twice in very peaceful locations. Get ready to get your feet wet as some places you have to cross the river on foot. The coffee was very tasty and a great price if you want to buy any. The cacao experience was also vey fun and enlightening.

Bring it Colombia! - What a full day! I learned so much about coffee, chocolate and the natural history of the region! Throw in a swim at the cascades, a coffee, lunch, and a cup of chocolate and you have the most perfect day!

So many activities - well worth it - We enjoyed this tour. Very informative + loads of activities - coffee farm chat, coffee taster, provided lunch, bush/town walk, swim in a small river, cacao talk, nature + animal talk, we even had a singer perform during lunch!!!!! They pack alot into the day so great value for money. It is chat heavy so prepare for that.

Minca tours - In general we enjoyed our experience. The woods and walk were quite lovely, time by the waterfall was very nice. The coffee tasting was great--I wish the farmer/owner could have given us the talk, I think it would have been more informative and personal, but they did not speak English, which I understand. The chocolate talk was given by one of the workers/owners of their farm, and it was super! Very informative, quite hands on, and she was so upbeat and fun. The lunch location was also absolutely stunning. One thing we didn't really like: one of the guides went on and on about how cell phones, chemicals, lifestyle choices are becoming the death of nature. Though many of his thoughts my husband and I agree with, it felt like we were getting elongated lecture after lecture on how we're all making bad decisions, and it was quite irritating. We were there for the positive and to learn about the environments and cultures of the farms and area. We would have been happy to skip the lectures on society and focus on the moment of the environment we were in. The only other thing that could have been a little better was communication about the walks. We had several lengthy walks through the forest with no instruction on where we were going next or how long it might take to get there. We were a large group of maybe 16, and at least half of the group was struggling with the distance in the heat and elevation changes. It felt like we were being drug around and rushed through the forest, no checking in on how folks were doing. Other than these two issues, we did have an enjoyable experience.

Educational - My kids (17, 14, 12) actually enjoyed this tour. Probably not a good option for younger ages. Also, some significant inclines and walking over slippery rocks. Enjoyed our guide Gustavo

Excellent tour that ended on a high! - Varied day, learned a lot, fab lunch and great chocolate session. Loved the flora and birds - humming birds everywhere. Take mossie spray which contains 50 % Deet or cover your entire body with clothes. It shouldn’t be a surprise - we’re in the jungle!
