10/10 tour to ciudad perdida - Hola:) I had a Great time with Ida as our guide, Isi as our translator, Jhon as the assistant and pastora as our cook. We learned so so much thanks to all of them. (Besides the fantastic hike of course) couldn’t have imagened a better team! Also the vegetarian options were great, better than any Colombian restaurant we’ve been so far. Thanks to all of them, they made our time really special! 100% recommend

Most amazing experience in Colombia! - This tour was AMAZING! We had the best time with our guide Joahn and his team. He told us a lot about the indigenous history and culture and we felt honored to witness the beauty of this almost untouched land. The hike was challenging and good buck spray is recommended, but the struggle was so worth it! The camps all were well organised and clean, our cook prepared nurishing and jummy food all on the way, plus providing tons of fruits and snacks. Didn't expect so much comfort and pampering, this was a nice suprise. I would do the hike again with Expotur :)

Go Turtles! :) - The trip was great, quite demanding though, with high temperature and humidity, happily not much of a rain. We have met amazing group of people which makes the hike much more joyful and fun, even during the toughest moments, so it is definitely worth it, especially if you like a challenging hikes. Spacial thanks to our guide Omar, who is an amazing person with a huge personality; to our translator Victor, who made it easy to communicate and understand all the stories shared by Omar, and our cook Orlando, who took care of our daily meals and drinks preparation. Let’s go TURTLES 🐢!!

Lost city trek - a challenge worth taking - Tour guide - Omar Montero was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the area, its history and the indigenous peoples. His insights, stories and historical recounts made the tour one of learning and knowledge and not just sight seeing. He was also very personable and funny. Our entire group loved his humor and warmth. If you get the chance to go with Omar you will not regret it. Interpreter - Victor did a great job translating all of Omar’s information and stories. He was very friendly and personable and we all enjoyed his company. Cook - Orlando kept us fed and fueled up for the demanding hike. We got to sample local food and he accommodated several food issues with ease. Thanks for the full bellies Orlando. Great job. The hike overall was demanding and not for the ill prepared. Lots of challenging terrain, slippery rocks and mud. Luckily we had good weather with rain only on the last day. Be prepared for the wet conditions and also sweaty clothes. The views along the trail were spectacular. From sweeping mountain vistas to raging rivers and cascading waterfalls. The nature experience alone was worth the trek. The lost city itself was a marvel. Incredible to think this was constructed many years ago and with primitive tools and labor. I would recommend this trip fully if you are in good hiking condition.

Omar Happy and so are we! - Our hike to the Lost City was a great adventure. Expotur is a professional and organized operator with very good facilities and equipment. We hiked in a group of 8 people, lead by our guide Omar. Omar has decades of experience as a guide, and wealth of information regarding the Lost City (which he helped restore) as well as the local Indigenous communities. He is also a joy to be around. He is kind, has a great sense of humor, and clearly enjoys making people around him happy. He was key to our group having a great vibe, laughing our way along the trail, even when the going got hard he kept everyone's spirits up, every now and then noting with a massive grin "Omar Happy!". Orlando, who was our cook, kept us well fed along the way. He magically was appeared ahead of us at the next camp, ready to look after us. Always smiling and always attentive, checking if we needed anything. The food he cooked was tasty and plentiful. Thank you Omar and Orlando for your great company and making this hike into a memorable adventure.

Shakira on its way to the lost city - The tour was a very special experience. After christening our group "Shakira", we started already. Jhoan, Isi, Elecier and Kevin led us through the dense jungle over many stops past waterfalls, tiny settlements, small shops for refreshments, our camps to stay overnight to the ruins of the lost city. They always provided us with amazingly interesting first-hand information and decent food.
