Definitely do this! - What an exciting activity! I had an amazing time creating a piece of fusion art! Brit was so patient and helpful as I had no prior experience with this type of media. Will certainly do it again the next time I’m in town!

Can't miss experience while in Destin! - We had the most unforgettable experience trying out glassblowing at Glass Deer. The owner Brit is an amazing artist and even better teacher. She is knowledgeable, patient and allows us time to work on our pieces. We were only visiting Destin, but we'd return just to take another class from Brit.

Great Experience to Share with Friends and Family - Great day spent with our children in their 20's. The instructor was extremely patient and you actually make something you could leave out on a shelf in your home! We would all come back again.

A World Of Signs team classes - Such a fun and wonderful experience. I attended today, Friday with A World Of Signs and created a simple and beautiful layout of blown glass pieces and colored glass crystals on a round clear piece of glass. I can't wait to see the finished product and my daughter wants to come with me next time after I showed & told her about everything. I will be in touch to check out our options. Amazing experience! Brit is fabulous - My sister and adult son went to Glass Deer. None of us have done anything like this before, nor are we very artistic or creative. Brit was fabulous. She was interesting, informative, creative, patient and very clear with each step and provided instructions that were easy to understand and follow. She has work displayed throughout that are gorgeous and provide ample examples of her artistic talents. We each picked a different thing to create and we were involved & interested and learning with each piece. Each one had different steps to do and learn from. We would all do this again - at least if it was Brit. She made what could have been a scary and daunting experience seem quite doable, interesting & fun.

Amazing experience we will always remember - Brittany is such a talented individual. Just visiting her studio was an amazing experience. Working with her in her hot shop was a great experience for me, my husband and our 11 year old twins. We all made our own piece to take home and we are all so proud of our pieces. Couple notes, only buy tickets for those that want to participate and make a piece. We bought 4 tickets, if we were to do it again, I would not have purchased for my husband who is not super creative. It was a rainy day when we were there (which was perfect) because it was fairly cool, but the hot shop is HOT. Close toes shoes if possible, hair back if your hair is long. Really unique experience that I would HIGHLY recommend!

I actually did it! I made something beautiful! - I had a 1 on 1 glass blowing class. Brit made the intimidating process of working with molten glass safe and made it seem almost easy. I took home a piece I’m truly proud of.

10/10 Fantastic Experience! - This was an absolutely amazing experience! Britt was so knowledgeable and patient with us. We had zero glass blowing background and this was our first time near anything like this. We got a great introduction to the basics of glass blowing with an emphasis on safety, and left with a better understanding of a hobby I’ve always wanted to try. Britt allowed us to “play” with a glob of hot glass before we actually attempted to make our take home piece, and I thought that was really nice of her. It helped us get used to the tools, the movements, and also helped take the nerves and anxiety away when starting on your take home piece. When creating your take home piece, Britt is there to assist in any way and answer any questions you have. I truly felt like I created the majority of my glass piece, which was an awesome feeling. She steps in when needed but stands back when you have it. Lastly, she has an amazing studio filled with her and her student’s work - which is wild. You are able to purchase select pieces she has on display as well! All around, 10/10 experience and would highly recommend for anyone thinking about it! Thanks, Britt!

Amazing - Getting my hands on working with the glass was neat. The instructor was lovely and went over safety first.

First and Last Experience at Deer Glass and Not Worth $378 - Our first experience at a glass blowing session on February 14th was at Deer Glass. Brit is skilled at making glass artwork and was very patient with my son. Brit was thorough in explaining the process of making art out of glass. The only cons to include, we were not made aware there was additional work and final touches required from Brit and that meant picking up the pieces next day. Brit mentioned we have the option to pick up the 2 glass pieces next day between 12PM-4PM. We arrived at 1:30PM to find the shop was closed and Brit was out of town. We would have appreciated a call before we made the trek out to the shop. Since our departure back home is three days after our session, Brit offered to ship the pieces to my home at no cost. Two weeks have passed and we have yet to hear from Brit on when our pieces will be shipped to our home. Additionally, the cost was $378 for 1.5 hours and overpriced for that short amount of time. Based on the cons noted above, I would not recommend potential customers for a glass blowing experience at Deer Glass.
