Better than Hop-on Hop-off bus (and we liked that too!) - This walking tour definitely exceeded our expectations. Despite the cool & wet weather, the Guide ("Adrian") navigated the different venues really well and maximized outdoor narration when sun was shining and kept us dry when the rain kicked up again. Made the best of a rainy day. - Adrian was great. Even though it was pouring rain and he had a small group he provided a great overview with enthusiasm and knowledge.

City tour - Very informative trip. We really enjoyed it. Irene was full of interesting knowledge. Definitely do this!

Knowledgeable and friendly guide braving the elements! - Our guide was super helpful and managed to hold us and the tour together in driving rain - no easy feat! Learned heaps about Santiago de Compostela and the Camino, and enjoyed the experience. Great way to get orientated to the city, highly recommended.

Better meeting point description needed. - Meeting place on Trip Advisor portal needs greater specificity. It simply says “Praza do Obraidoro”. That plaza in front of the Santiago Cathedral is huge! It was raining, there were other tours, some were starting across the plaza where there is a covered gallery of a government building. I suggest something like: “Meet your Optimus Travel guide (carrying an orange umbrella) in front of the Catedral Museum door in Praza do Obraidoro” The tour itself was terrific!

The guide was informative... - The guide was informative and enthusiastic and gave us a great insight into the history and legends of the town. A great tour. Very enjoyable.

A must for a first time visitor to Santiago - To learn details about the historical path and growth of the cathedral and the city. Our guide Ticiano was wonderful ! Great sense of humor, full of details and knowledge, and showed always his concern for the group’s comfort and understanding

Expert guide and excellent value for money - Meri was an excellent guide with a fund of interesting and entertaining stories about the city and its history. We never felt hurried and she took the time to answer individual questions. We couldn’t believe the price when we booked it - 1 euro each! But it was high quality guiding and Everyone was v happy to give her generous tips at the end.

Don’t miss it - Well informed, fun and helpful guide. Enjoyed the historical tour. Very well organized gave a good overall view of the city and its history
