Love Mega Tours!! - Such a sensational excursion we experienced on our vacation. Our tour guide Alex and driver Santiago were great!!! We have booked 5 times with Mega Adventures and are always pleased and they always deliver on exciting and memorable fun!!!
When you book with this company and opt to take the country side views be sure to bring a couple bags of lollipops. The children we saw along the way will enjoy these treats . They are so appreciative!!

Had great time! - Had a great time! Everyone there were fantastic! Very friendly staff. Horses were very easy to ride. We had group of 6 and we all had time of our lives. Highly recommend them!

One of a kind tour! - We had an amazing time! Our tour guide was Alex and our driver was Wilmo. If you want to go on an authentic tour where you get to see the countryside and visit with the locals, look no further. Make sure you bring s bag of candy for all the children you pass while traveling the back roads. We stopped by one school and was able to speak with the teachers and children. We learned that the students could always use additional school supplies and we vow to send what we can. Pencils, notebooks, crayons, things of that nature. I really took it personal when I witness all the children so eager to learn with limited tools.
One of our stops was at the home of a homeowner. She showed us what she grow, gave us a tour of the inside of her home and offered us some fresh fruit that was grown on the property.
We also had some arroz con pollo with toastones. It was so delicious I wanted to get a second plate but opted not to. I'll make sure I spread the word about this tour company and how they actually care about the next generation of people.

Amazing experience! - My family and I did the zip line and horse back riding last week on a cruise excursion and we had an amazing time! Ari our tour guide was phenomenal! She made us feel very comfortable and explained everything clearly. The entire staff was fantastic and we really enjoyed the food! The horses were also well taken care of and that was important for our family. We also really appreciated the tour of the property with all the different fruits, veggies and resident parrot! Thank you so much for such a great experience. I would highly recommend any of the excursions!

LOVED IT - Great tour of the city and countryside. The lunch that was provided was delicious. The sweet, juicy fruit at the countryside home was refreshing. The tour guide Misael explained how the children along the countryside enjoy greeting the tours. I was happy that I brought plastic eggs ( I placed different dominations of money) in each egg and passed them out on the tour. Another passenger passed out crayons and coloring books. Daniel, the driver, provided a completely comfortable driving experience.

Honestly best experience - Honestly! Best experience, my 8year son had the best day ever!! Our tour guide Juana she was lovely, I loved her energy. Our driver Ramon, got us there and back safe.
Anyways the zip line was amazing we just wish there was more lines, we had some fruits afterwards and a taste of the coco which was yum! Loved the tour of the Plantation and photos with parrot. The views were amazing loved every minute of the day, worth every penny!

Amazing ziplines! - This was an AMAZING experience! Our guide was Darwin. We booked through Carnival cruise as the EcoAdrenaline Zipline. Everyone was very friendly and kind. At the ziplines, we had an explanation of how to safely zipline as they helped to put on our safety gear. Then we climbed up and zipped from line to line. There were many guides and helpers along the way. Because you have gloves on your hands, there isn't really a way to take pictures. However, they provided a photographer as well. Of course the pictures cost extra money, so be prepared to take cash along. We provided our email. We received a link in about 2 days for the pictures, but the cruise ship wifi and my phone didn't allow access. However, when we got home we were able to download. We received almost 200 pictures for a family of 6 of us! Then we had a plate of fruits, got a taste of some amazing hot chocolate, and got to hold a parrot while getting more pictures. This was one of the most memorable excursions that we have booked for a very good price.

Zip Lining in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic - Our family had an excellent time! This was a day excursion that we planned from our cruise ship. I can’t help but think we had the best crew. Juana, our guide was very bubbly and energetic. Roberto was our driver. As we drove through town, Juana explained the culture and the city of Puerto Plata. She answered all of our questions and was a joy, the ride was pure entertainment!
Once we came to the zip line area, everyone working was extremely professional. We felt very safe given all of their instruction. The crew was knowledgeable and humorous. We felt prepared and at ease. The zip line activity itself was easy. The climbing of the stairs to get to each platform was a bit more challenging. The stairs/ladders are narrow and if you’re afraid of heights, this is what will probably scare you most. I’m 53 and in good shape. There were some couples there, probably in their 60s. We were all able to climb to the different platforms. I must admit I was a tiny bit breathless by the end, so I feel like it was just the right amount of activity.
Later we went back to base where fresh fruit and drinks were waiting for us. Juana introduced us to many of the native fruits grown there and walked us through the different varieties of fruit trees and plants. This was an unexpected treat which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
Having seen the beautiful landscape of the country and witnessing the warmth of the people, this tour has our family longing to return to the Dominican Republic.
