santa Rita wine tour - A great tour mostly because our guide named Alex was smart, informative and had a good sense of humor, and the wine was excellent also.

Top 3 experience in Chile - PICK UP: On time (between 8 and 9am) from our hotel. I would also note that I had to change our hotel pick up location due to a hotel issue so we went to a Turistik kiosk in San Cristobal, and Oscar was very friendly and helpful. DRIVE THERE: Octavio was a great driver, and Josefa was friendly and fun, teaching us about the Chilean drinking culture and the Santa Rita vineyard. BIKE TRIP: Gorgeous bike ride through the vineyards to Carmen, a winery within Santa Rita to learn about the wine-making process. Then we biked to a lovely shaded area where Josefa surprised us with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from Carmen! Refreshing wine and lovely time. Then we biked back and had our official wine tasting (separate review of Santa Rita). Overall: so much fun, highly recommend!

Amazing guides!!!! - The highlight of the tour were the two amazing girls that toured us around! The location was stunning. The cycling easy and very enjoyable. I had fun and learnt a lot of new things about wine, from how it’s produce to how appreciate it in a beginner (like me!) tasting crush course 😊 I’m sure all Turistik guides are good, but if I was to come back I’d definitely ask for Valentina Tapia and Angel. Fun, learning and great time guaranteed!!! Thank you ladies for the fabulous tour!!

Must do! - This is a very very nice tour. A comfortable ride to the vinyard, with a pick up from the hotel. The winery is far away so unlike what I read in some other reviews, it is a decent ride out. Our tour Eduardo (who spoke both English and Spanish) had excellent knowledge of the entire process and patiently explained it to us. It was very insightful and enjoyable. The cycling through the vineyard was the way to see it, as it gives you access to the factory to see the production process and aging rooms. And cycling was too much fun. Nelson who drove the bus was also extremely safe and patient. Highly recommend the tour and ask for Eduardo and nelson

Vineyard tour - Excellent from the start. The Bus ride was very smooth with a very knowledgeable guide, Javiera, that introduced the vineyard before we got there. Once the tour started our guide Matias was extreme melt patio at and very informative the history, the wine, and the compound in its entirety. Had an amazing time exploring the vineyard couldn’t ask for a better tour! Thank you Javiera, Leonardo and Matias for a great day!!

The best way to visit a vineyard! - What a great trip! We had a brilliant guide in Ashleigh and our driver Leonardo and had a fab half-day cycling around the vineyards. The scenery is gorgeous and tranquil with lots of bird life and Ashleigh brought to life the history of the vineyards. She had concealed a nice treat for halfway round! Our bike ride was around 9.7 km but all flat with no traffic. We then went to a tasting that was brilliantly conducted by Catalina. The wines in the shop are really well priced from a uk perspective. All in all, this is a wonderful introduction to Chile for us, thank-you.

Change your expectations - I would not recommend this tour to anyone. First of all, the communication is absolutely terrible. After booking, I received zero information. I used all the options I could find for the company and finally got some contact the (late) afternoon the day before the tour. It had been unclear whether or not we would be on the hotel pick-up route or meet at the 'pick-up point'. They finally confirmed we would be picked up. Then they were 30 mins late to pick us up and, again, I had to call them to get any kind of update. After they picked us up, we drove for about 5 minutes to the 'pick-up point' where everyone dispersed onto different buses. If we had known exactly where the 'pick-up point' was, we could have just walked there but the information provided was so vague we had no idea where it was or that it was so darn close. If the company improved their communication even slightly, it would help. Now, on to the actual tour, it was so bad I won't even go into all the details. Here is the summary: do not expect any kind of real bike ride. It was an extremely short distance. We also stopped every two minutes. We had two tour guides and had a group of two different language speakers. It would have been great if they had split the group at the stops and each guide delivered the info to one group in their language. However, they kept us all together and then did the same presentation twice--one language after the other. You can imagine how much longer this made the day go with half of the time being rather boring. They also make it seem like you get a wine tasting at a few places which is not the case. You get no wine during the drawn-out, short-distance bike ride and then get 3 tastings at the winery where the tour started. This may not have been too bad if the wine at the one place you get any wasn't terrible. I couldn't even drink some of it, it was so bad. Lastly, there was no time to explore anything on your own (not that there was much else to see besides the gift shop) and then got back on the bus. All-in-all, a total waste of time and money. We used a different tour company for each excursion during our trip and Turistik Chile was the worst.
