Excellent introduction to the city - Eugene did a very good job before the tour to communicate a confirmation and information as to where to meet. This was my first time to Santiago and this was a great way to start off my trip. There were maybe 10 people in our group and he did a very good job keeping us all together. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information on everything that we saw. It is a walking tour and you are going to do a lot of walking and the day we were there was very hot. The tour said water was provided but it was probably 2/3 of the way through the tour when we stopped at a small vendor and he bought everyone water. So my suggestion is to bring your own water because we really needed it before that point. Otherwise it was an excellent tour and I would highly recommend.

Great walking tour of Santiago - Eugene was very knowledgeable about Santiago and its history. We enjoyed the tour very much, although in the mid-summer heat it maybe could have been 30 mins shorter.

Fantastic city walk - We enjoyed the city walk with our guide Eugenio. He was a walking encyclopedia and a happy speech waterfall full of stories from Salvador Allende via Pinochet to the current president Gabriel Boric, he knew all about it. Definitely value for money!

Engaging guide, great tour - We had a very nice walking tour of the old central part of Santiago today. Our guide was very engaged with our group and had a good command of the subject matter.

Great tour! - Eugene was a great tour guide- he was very knowledge and showed us SO much! He made us feel so welcome in Santiago. The tour ran a little long- expect to walk a lot. I logged 15,000 steps on my watch!

Very informative and good fun - We very much enjoyed our walking tour with Eugenio, and in particular enjoyed meeting and talking with the other walkers (from USA, N Zealand, Ireland and Mexico) and hearing about their experiences in Chile. We learnt a lot about the history of Chile, and Eugenio was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was very hot and perhaps an earlier start with perhaps a brief coffee stop ( maybe in the cool of the library cafe) would’ve been good!

Good introduction to Santiago - Overall, the tour was very good. There was plenty of useful contemporary and historical information, and it covered many sites and areas in the allotted time without haste. The guide found us easily at the starting point, was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. .As it was a very hot and sunny day, being more mindful of shade requirements (if possible;e) would have improved the experience. Although the guide was very knowledgeable, it would help if the information was delivered just a little slower, especially with names (and to be fair, speaking faster seems to be a cultural thing).

Pretty good tour - Combined Spanish and English tour not ideal. Time wasted while guide gave every explanation twice. But Eugene was good.

Abusive messages from guide - The guide was 10 minutes late. I wasn't enjoying the tour so I decided to drop out. Afterwards instead of trying to solicit constructive feedback from me the guide started sending me abusive WhatsApp messages.
